My last attempt at delivering the HPV turned out to be a major fail...but I had so much fun doing so.

 

While cruising the greater LS area, I spot that elusive green car icon gleaming on my map. I don't usually pick them up unless I'm looking to kill time...or people. Well, with few dots surrounding the getaway route I figure what the hell. Upon entering the car I quickly waypoint the western most LSC and begin my journey. Surprisingly enough I arrive unscathed and respray with a quickness. As the car exits the shop I scour the map and there it is, 2 players headed my way with another heading to the docks. I knew it, I knew it, just can't resist the temptation of owning some random player trying to deliver that ride, Lol. As they approached I snuck off on the back roads while calling Lester to remove my ass from the map (the icon no longer shows, right?). Upon entering the dock entrance, where the gates are, I'm met with heavy resistance...and quickly die. Over the next few minutes the 2 others and myself swap deaths over the car until my last death respawns me way down the road. As I'm respawned I watch their blips, hovering over the car then quickly fleeing...towards the docks. I figure a few stickies await my arrival so I approach cautiously... and just before arriving some other random player mows me down, jacks the car, and speeds off. As my player oh so slowly regains his footing I see my hard work and dedication driving off into the distance...and then BOOM! His ass gets blown to pieces from the previously attached c-4.

 

So much work, and time, just wasted. But damn it was fun.

dunno why but ive only delivered about 3 HPV's in 5 months

your player blip is removed but you still have a giant green car on radar youre driving... and you got your ass toasted. much fail. and so much to learn my young gangster....

 

one quick tip, if you have an armored car spawning spree occuring and the HPV pops up, blow that thing to hell as quick as you can and the armored cars may continue to spawn again. works half the time anyway.

Of course always wait until the mark spends his money on the respray before you either blow up the vehicle with him in it or steal it for yourself.

 

Installing ignition bombs are fun too.

Pick it up, drive to lsc, apply remote bomb, park it somewhere, sit back and eat popcorn, when hpv gets close to the docks, BOOM,

I think people need to learn that you can actually share the money for the delivery. All I see are people attacking and trying to steal the HPV, but if you just get in and help deliver it, you make money too.

either have someone escort you, have friends cargobob you to the docks or if you manage to get alive out of ls custom, use the off radar

Finally get the car and get it down to the docks only for the asshole to say "well i guess we can use it for parts" becuase it barely has a layer of dust on the f*cking body.

I used to rush to it, apply a sticky and leave, wait for the mark to arrive and detonate whenever I felt like it. Sometimes after they resprayed it, sometimes straight away.

 

Now, I just rush to it and flatten all 4 tires if I am feeling ornery or more often I take it and become the mark myself, driving it here and there around the map, never with the intent of delivering it, just to attract attention and have some good fun defending it.

I am one of the a**holes who blows up the HPV, as long as nobody is going after it. If I see someone going for it, I leave them alone. I dont know why I like to blow them up, but I do it anyway.

I always check the map before I go into LSC, if there's no one nearby, I respray it and make a dash for the docks, if I see a white dot closing in I slap an ignition bomb on it, leave the car outside and go off the radar.

I usually hate trolling but the rage messages are just too entertaining.

when the green car/bike show, i drive there mostly first. Now i have two options - 1. if its high value car near 8000$ i stole it and try get it in dock or 2. if its low value car near 4000$ i put C4 on it and drive away waiting for "someone" stole HPV = kaboom

Haha. I rather enjoy the troll traffic that it creates. Flatten tires from the get-go...nice touch

I let my wife get the vehicle, then I follow her in a tank, blowing up anybody who gets near.

 

One time we had two people on the road in vehicles who kept coming up behind me (I'd blow them up), a Buzzard who couldn't get close enough because I kept shooting my missiles at it, and we had some punk ass blocking simeon's garage door with a car..... I blew it up with my tank and killed that guy, my wife delivered the car.... WE WIN
