Warning about making second characters.

Hey everyone just wanted to let you all know f an issue that caused me a big problem. I have a level 90 character and made a new second character last night. So I go back to my main character after completing the creation process and skipping the intro. I found no vehicles in my garage so I shut down my ps3. Luckily I saved my cars doing this because it disnt save I suppose. I have lost all of my Pegasus vehicles that I did pay for with shark cards and my game money. Pegasus is still available in my phone but the woman says all operators are busy. I am also experiencing issues with my apartments garage since making and playing the new character, like some bug thinking its not my property. Good luck don't make secondary characters if you have a higher rank main with items you could lose and probably will.

 

 

 

 

TLDR = don't make secondary characters in gtao.

its the garage/game overwrite glitch. happened to me a month ago lost all my cars and pegasus vehicles. i submitted a ticket to cockstar. only gotten the "will escalate to tier 2 support" automated response. i had to spend millions to get back everything hopefully i will get compensated as a few people have in the past. i dont count on it since cockstar are a bunch of greedy f*cks. if you make a second character use a seperate psn id, i know you will be broke as f*ck but atleast your sh*t wont be deleted. i use my second character as a glitch gineapig so far im at $15mil with a supercar only garage.

i have a different problem

 

my second character still doesn't have an apartment, so i'm still stuck with just a starter car

 

when it gets destroyed and i call Mors, the car list will just flash and immediately disappear before i even get a chance to select and get it replaced, so i can't do sh*t

 

i find myself having to mash the X button as it's ringing just to catch it before it flashes, which is kinda retarded

 

not sure if getting a garage and another car will fix this, but it's annoying as hell and will make repairing my destroyed cars literally impossible if i have more than one

I did lose a tank and a boat on my 1st account.

And we'll over a million in cars on my newer acct

Good luck getting help from R*.

They'll give you an in game credit once. But if it happens again your SOL.

Someone posted their experience with the service at R* after losing million dollar cars 3 times and they basically said tough sh*t!

Get an Adder, a Rebel, and a journey and take that sh*t back yourself..

Yea guessing ill just buy the buzzard again and maybe the vestra an valum I don't know if the tanks worth it, I only use it to kill people friending with tanks, that'll save me at least the cost of the vestra an half of the valum if not all, I know it'll be months before I get a resolution if at all. I need the buzzard for rooftop rumble so I don't have to drive all over.. Bumber, you all with no issues are very lucky people.

Did you delete your second character and make a new one? ThatS what I did and it deleted my Pegasus vehicles. so I think that may be the problem. I never sent a ticket to R* and I'm surprised that this hasn't been fixed yet because this happen almost 2 months ago

Yea when I first started I made a second character and deleted him. I have a ticket going, seem like they are going threw it pretty quick so it may be a month or two till its solved, worried about using my second character though so I doubt I will again due to the issues.

Sounds like bad luck OP but tons of people have second characters (myself included) and we've never had a problem, as unfortunate as this is it's not in the least bit a common occurance that others are in need of being warned about. Just send a support ticket to R*, they may well sort it out for you.
