Banner Ads Disrupting Funtionality

I don't mind advertising on forums, I actually think it's great if your getting a revenue stream to help maintain and improve the site. But I am having a problem with the banner ads on some pages. There's a discussion I want to follow, but the "follow this topic" button is covered by an ad.

It's not like this on every page, actually this is the first time I've run into this. But it is something that you may want to look at improving. I'm using Firefox, 27.0.1.

I think the majority of the layout was designed with widescreen viewing because whenever I see an ad in that location, there's plenty of room between: the title, the add and the follow button.
