K20
I've been playing 5 on my LG 23 inch monitor since the go. Using a 2 year old xbox 360 [from new]. its been playing great, and quality is smooth. no FPS issues, even with a hundred things going on [explosions, bullets, police lights etc] I've bought a new LG 55 inch TV and hooked up the xbox. the game is smooth while walking and driving in non-built up areas. but as soon as i get in a fast car on a road with many building/trees/cars... the game play stutters, its like the fps has dropped to like 5 or something. really annoying. and it goes back to being smooth once i slow down or turn into a quieter place. is there a setting in xbox i need to change to get it smooth again? not a pro at this so anything might help. LG monitor is: LG 23EA63V LG TV is: LG 55LA860W Edited March 20, 2014 by K20
Tracksuit Hitman
Have you altered your console's display options and your GTA V display options? Altering the console's display options should fix your issue, hopefully.
K20
tried that. but the quality is sooo bad. the game does play another thing happened [at full resolution]. the game crashed this weekend. it was when it was raining and sun came out [floor is wet] and i was shooting from a fully modded car on the freeway. the screen just went black and reset the game to last save. i did get an error saying the CD was corrupt. but it can't be cause its been working all this time. could it be that the hardware just can't perform at that 1080p? Bozzah
- have you tried clearing the cache? or is your HDD stuffed with lots of things? - maybe your xbox is just overheating aswell, have you placed it in something like a drawer? My brother had his ps3 in a "furniture" (I don't know its name in english) but man that thing got hot inside there he moved it to a more open place and he never had problems again... - corrupted disc error CAN be the cause of a faulty drive... just saying ....although I don't believe this...if it's just 2 years old... oh and I don't think that your drive can break right after getting yourself a new TV, I think it's just because of overheating or slow reading from your HDD (see 2 steps above) Edited March 24, 2014 by Bozzah
