Things you LOVE in GTA V

I figured I would start this thread because browsing the forums it seems that they are full of people hating the game and feel the need to share their hateful opinions rather then just go play another game. So to restore balance, why don we talk about the things we love? I'll start....

I love the fact that the world feels alive, everywhere you go there's something happening and something to do. I love the huge choice of vehicles and weapons in the game, and the fact that the combat feels so much better then previous GTAs that I actually want to use every weapon at my disposal rather then just stick to the same powerful gun over and over. I love how you can replay missions, I love the size of the world, I love the graphics and overall - dare I say it - I think this is my favourite GTA game ever.

Now you guys go :)

There is an equal amount of "hating" and "praising" in this section so please don't be so dramatic.

What I love about V:

  • The whole entire east coast of the map
  • The Zion, Zion Cabrio, Schwartzer, Oracle II, Dubsta, and Vacca
  • The convenience stores
  • Some of the detail on the buildings
  • Lanes built for turning so that the traffic flows a little better
  • Vespucci Canals
  • Vespucci architecture
  • That humongous, dark tan mansion sitting on a hill that has visible bell towers and a wonderful overlook of the city
  • A lot of the mansions and their views. It's a shame that the only mansions we got were a boring glassy house and the worst type of Mediterranean house with barely any good views nor exclusion.

Did you actually mean the east coast? Not much I can think of on the east coast but the west coast is great

Alright, let's see...

-City/Map colors and atmosphere.

-Haircuts and beards, Michael wouldn't be my favorite if they just kept default looks on each protagonist.

-Fast cars.

-Waterfalls.

-Nature and vegetation (altought the final game lacks a lot of it, it still looks nice if you don't think about how Trailer 1 looked.)

-Dialogue details, such as when you get Wanted Level Michael can say "Great, cops!... f*ckin' beautiful..."

-Character control, walking feels a lot comfortable than IV and RDR.

-Trevor's dialogue.

-Del Perro Pier.

-Smoke, drink and watching TV.

-Weapons.

-Explosions, specially car chain explosions.

-Parachuting and Skydive.

-And what I really love, the Dynamic Score!

ED: I forgot some:

-Special Outfits (like Jewel Store suit, Bugstars, Assault, Janitor, Dive Suit...)

-The ability to replay missions from the menu.

-Quick Save with the phone.

-Water.

-Seashark.

-Snapmatic.

Love seeing random fights occur between cops and peds. Never occurs in online because AI seem to despawn every 2 seconds.

I love the graphics.

I love the voice acting.

I love dialogue.

I love the fact that you can rupture a gas tank and blow up a car like in movies

I love the trailers for the game.

I love my los santos hat i got with the collectors edition.

The love and effort put into the game you don't see that much these days it's usually '' copy and paste '' '' hype it up get our money quick'' '' make it trendy so people will be sucked into it'' Rockstar don't do that stuff sure V was a little mainstream with the online and all but considering we're living in the watered down era it's a rarity to find a company who puts this much effort into their product. I might criticize the game a bit on here from time to time but i'm very passionate about gta and I only want it to get better and better.

I do love gta v and anybody who thinks im a hater because I complain about certain things can and with all due respect go f*ck you're self. I love V and gta that isn't going to change anytime soon.

I was giving it some thought and you know something I really love about GTA V? Even if it's only minor.

The quick save function on the phone. Like OMG. Whilst I think R* made some dumb decisions in the game this is something they done right.

It's so convenient to be able to save anywhere. It might not be quite as realistic as RDR's camping, but I must say I'm glad they put this into the game.

CantThinkOfOne2013

  • Vehicle variety

Mission variety

Weapon variety

3 protagonist system

Refinements to gunplay

Refinements to driving

The map, it's diversity and locations and how they all felt alive.

Quick save feature

Golf and Tennis

The detail

The fact that even the exteriors of buildings were fully explorable

It's a gameplay focused game

Story and characters, it wasn't quite as good as GTA IV here but I still loved it

I loved Trevor but Michael & Franklin are ok to play as too.

The 3 protag system works very well.

The quick save.

The cut scenes not requiring time to load.

Mini-Gun's wonderful return.

Some of the missions.

Ending C.

The beautiful map.

Some of the new vehicles.

Faster clothes changing.

Many more but I haven't had any sugar or caffeine yet :p

Not sure what else to say... they comment on what your wearing.

One of them said to me when I was wearing the robes, "Where did you get that dreadful outfit" or something like that.

Yeah I was wrong haha. I'd explored the east before and found it kind of lifeless and boring but I explored it more in depth today and I was amazed by its beauty.

Trafalgar Law

- The map size

- How everything feels alive

- Three protagonists, especially Michael

- The activities that you could do (especially darts)

- Driving and Shooting

- Customization for cars and characters (just wish it had more hairstyles)

- The story

...and that's all I got for right now.

Those moments that started with the HD era. Hard to explain, but sometimes I just stop what I'm doing and get all sensitive.

It's just so beautiful!
