Okay R*, we really now need a vehicle dlc for boats.

Most of you hate boats i guess or dont spend much time in the water i suppose. I for one hate boat races. But in freeroam, how amazing would it be if we could own a yacht, one that supposedly has its own helipad.

 

Driveable Yachts with interiors

Driveable tugs

Driveable ships and/or freights

Purchasable sub with torpodeos

 

This would make the use of the ocean more desirable. It would also increase the use of cash cards (looking at this from R* perspective).

 

I mean who wouldnt want to own a sub or ship or a yacht (with perhaps with tow rods for attachable seasharks or dinghys)?

 

Scuba gear should make a return too.

I think we could all agree on that. But when i think of boats i think of a still boat/ship sitting calmly on the waves and the player just chilling out with his friends on the water. It might be cool to own once your a millionaire or perhaps billionaire.

There are a few places fun to boat (Raton Canyon, round the docks and canals) but it is pretty limited. Offshore casinos might change that,

Ah that'd be cool. I don't really see why so many people dislike the idea, I feel they're looking at it too one dimensionally.

I'd love a party boat or some type of aircraft carrier boat to land plane(s) on.

Its a shame R* didn't do much with the ocean, its quite detailed.

They need money briefcases you can dive for like in SP, as well as sharks. Make the money cases spawn randomly and get spotted on the map for activity.

 

Oh and maybe gangsters around the drop point trying to stop you.

This is the unfortunate truth in this game. That's why I'm hoping if Vice City is ever re-visited again, there's definitely some focus in the boating world - because it would be nice and a welcome addition.
