Would you enjoy the addition of some Legal Jobs?

Recommended Posts

This would only be possible in invite only. Think about it. Towing a car would be impossible if someone is in a tank or faster than you plants a stickie on the car being towed. Invite only or solo would be the only way

Its a dangerous business for sure...but we are not defenseless.

Sounds like good ideas, but would they be random action sequences in free roam or their own job lobby?

in freeroam...you see a cab you get in. Hit right on dpad and you get a wp. Pick npc up at wp and take them to a destination...get paid...but the whole time just like in an impromptu or one on one DM youare in the session with other players.

My idea was that when you are on a bicycle in freeroam sometimes bicycle courier jobs will pop up. If you accept a package you get a timer and need to make the drop off. All in freeroam with a notification to the other players that you have picked one up.

Make the drop = +$ +RP

Someone kills you, they get a $bonus for stopping the delivery or can make the drop themselves.

As far as "legal" is concerned I guess its in the context.

No thanls. This isnt grand legal auto.

Yeh, totes, which is why the games are full of tons of things to do outside of theft and murder, like the things the OP talks about.

Do you read?

Do you even play?

The tow job side missions were so boring in singleplayer, the only legal activity i would enjoy would be being a cop with a couple of other people who would have to take down any player with a wanted level.

Obviously they would not be entertaining for everyone...but someone not interested in delivering the package might find it fun to kill the guy trying to.

The versus missions should all take part in free roam. That would really spice things up.

After seeing the first trailers that's kind of what I expected GTAO to be, we're on a job either solo or with a crew and others are trying to take our score.

I just want to get paid to do stuff in free roam instead of stopping my gameplay for a few 5 minute bursts of gameplay. I don't even car how much it is. Robbing stores got old real fast and armoured trucks are either rare or akin to grinding (cuz that's all there is). And Simeon. f*ck Simeon (but don't f*cking take him away! f*ck Johnny on the spot too, but he was better there than not!) Need more free roam stuff in general.

Making missions real time on a server would make matchmaking and freeroams difficult... er. More difficult. However, I would like all missions to be real time and notifications of mission starts for all players.

Oh, the blood. Oh, the Glory!

Most of us have millions. This would have been cute in the beginning, but you think I'm gonna flip burgers for crap pay now? Let me drive to my Burger Shot job in my Entity. Nah.

Why do so many people on this forum assume everyone is loaded? I've been playing 2 to 3 times a week since the game released and I've only got about $38K right now. Sure, I've got the big apartment with 10 car garage, and the fully modded cars, but I'm pretty much cash poor. Maybe it's because I don't spend my days grinding RR and then blasting everything that moves in free roam; Instead I play a variety of modes and try to enjoy the game instead of the grind.

OT, on would like some real free roam jobs. Anything to create a real PvP experience instead of the random drive by. Right now all of the free roam fights are just random. No one ever fights for a Simeon car, a crate, or an armored truck. Those things spawn someone grabs them and then they're gone before other players get there.

Most people on this forum are rich.. or at least they play enough to not be poor. It isn't my fault you can't seem to keep up.

The easy way to make many of these ideas harder to troll would be to notify the lobby that you had completed the task (and thus are likely still doing it) so you don't immediately get a whole lobby trying to grief your taxi (or whatever). If it gave notice that you were trying to be productive, you would become instant trollbait. The idea to me is some activities that are not just an overblown DM spawn kill spree.
