Does anybody know how to get a good launch while stage racing or any tips in general, because I keep getting beat off the launch.

The answer to this is in the game tips when the game loads.

 

When it comes up GO hit the accelerator. You get a 'turbo boost' (like a perfect launch) - it's quite obvious when you've got it right. The trap people fall in to is hitting it too quick, too slow, or holding it down through the countdown.

 

I just wait until I see go and immediately press it, get it every time.

If you're talking about Non-Creator races, try holding the accelerator just a little, it'll produce more Torque than just holding it flat out.

I can never get the turbo start so this is what I always do, hold it just off of the rev limiter.

 

although to be technically accurate, the car is producing less torque, but that means that the wheels won't spin and can grip the road better than if you rev the engine all the way, producing so much torque that wheels spin and propel the car less efficiently

Figure the time it takes to go from each number and then after the go sign hit the gas in half that time.
