i think they realized it wasn't actual copyright infringement. not 100%, but i would think rockstar would only be in trouble if they were making money off of the logos.

 

they arent, they are making money off of people who want to brand themselves with stupid logos of real life things.

 

in the disclaimer of this game (and most things) it says "any likeness to real events/characters is purely coincidental."

I think the Rockstar criterion is that if it was really hard to make a logo and absolutely no fun was involved, then it's OK.

 

But making an SVG from an image is too fast, too easy and too fun, so that process is not allowed.
