The worst game I have ever played on a current gen console is Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood.

 

I f*cking hate every f*cking concept this game tried to deliver. The controls are god f*cking awful. You're supposed to do some free roam, but yet the f*cking game FAILS you when you do. The stand off sections are f*cking way beyond pathetic. The "dead-Eye" not only barely works but you're explained how to do it two f*cking times and it's backwards. Boring plot, boring graphics and the voice acting is worse than possible. Of all the PS3 games I own, this one is the absolute worst of the lot. I'll never play it again.

Yakuza 3 was a let down. Yakuza and Yakuza 2 on the PS2 were and still are my favourite games, however Yakuza 3 on the PS3 was pretty sh*t. I may have set my expectations too high, but I was really disappointed with the sequel to the PS2 games.

 

Somebody said Heavy Rain was one of the worst? Bollocks to that, Heavy Rain could easily be the best gaming experience I've ever had. That game, along with the never-before-seen features was amazing.

Out of all the games I played, Resident Evil 5 followed by Mass Effect 2.

I've never heard anyone seriously disliking Mass Effect 2. Explain yourself.

The combat felt like I was playing with pea-shooters and super-soakers, and the repetitive poorly designed levels were flat, boring and lacked any form of detail.

 

Coming from the guy who defends GTA V all the time, which had an incredibly bland and boring map and a very boring story, this is a little ironic.

 

 

How it is ironic, people have opinions, and I thought that Mass Effect 2's combat and level deisgn was garbage.

There have been some truly great games that used the Unreal engine, including Bioshock, Splinter Cell series, Thief, Deus Ex, Star Wars Republic Commando, Enslaved, Rainbow Six, Batman Arkham series, Borderlands, Dishonered, Gears of War and of course Mass Effect.

I enjoyed it somehwat, shooting mechanics and weapons wise. However they dropped the ball not having co-op considering you always had an AI partner. I also felt scenes were way overly dramatized. Just like in the show Charlie Brooker's Gameswipe, one person mentioned how utterly insane it was for the Ex-Preist to bust through a window then say "shut up bitch" to a woman cowering in the corner. It kind of summed up the attitude of games these days and the little respect for history or for historical accuracy.

 

I enjoyed the game still and found it far less annoying than RDR. However I much preferred the first CoJ game and even though the stupid kid's sections were annoying at times it offered way better free roam aspects, the duels seemed to work better and though the game didn't feel totally polished, it knew it's place and understood it's role, it offered something definitely unique at the time, in 2007 not many games were like it. And it had a less of an over the top story than where the CoJ series has gone recently, even with Gunslinger being an almost borderlands type western experience. Over the top and stupid out the arse.

 

I loved the first for its more calm and realistic approach. It felt like we finally got a true western without any overly dramatized hollywood moments. However since then, it has gone downhill. Even though I enjoyed the shooting and cover mechanics.

In my opinion it's one of the greatest games of all time.

True bro and going by Metacritic,GTA 4 and LoZ:Ocarina of Times are the Greatest Games of All Time while Ride To Hell is the Worst Game of All time with a meta score of 16 unlike IV with 98 and LoZ with 99,infact TBoGT have a rating of 90 and won VGA Best DLC of 2009 ...Every GTA game are Great and Near Perfect since III (13 years and going) in terms of Rating and Metacritic(Success etc) with the exception of Advance and the Legendary Era (2D) plus 90% of gamers love any GTA game (esp. the fans) so it kind of weird to see someone say GTA4 was Worst except for Boris and maybe few other people who doesnt like the HD Era games.

I never really experienced any issues with Oblivion and I can't remember that the game ever crashed on my pc. Sleeping Dogs is a pretty awesome game as well.

 

I agree with you on SH: Homecoming though. I've never played such a horrible port in my life, and none of the problems have ever been fixed since the game was released as far as I know. It's sad because I was such a big fan of SH2 and 3. The Room wasn't bad either.

Ride of Hell: Retribution was the worst piece of sh*t I heard of (haven't played it though). I've played Walking Dead: Survival Instincts and that sh*t was f*cking awful.

 

Still the worst of the worst are games we haven't played at all I'd imagine, some indie game somewhere out there is a solid 0/100.

I usually avoid bad games but my mate and I will play any co-op game in which we can play split screen, so we unfortuently played Aliens Colonial Marines which is a god damn awful game. Terrible AI, boring story, fighting more humans than aliens when its an alien game and that c*nt O'Neil getting in the way all the time. I hated that f*ckhead so badly, he was the one character you were suppose to bond with but he was a complete wanker.

 

Kane and Lynch 2 was a terrible game as well, shocking camera and the biggest WTF ending ever. The worst games I played single player would have to be Pro Evo 2012 and 2013, I bought them since I'm an old school PES fan but I only played a couple of matches and never played it again as the AI was downright broken.

^ Lol really,i thought Kane & Lynch was a great imo (but yeah the 2nd installment was sh*t) the heists were great for a linear game,i didnt know that a GTA game will be Heists focused plus the first Openworld game were we can plan out heists

 

PES has only one advantage over Fifa,and the Graphics,but it an arcade sport franchise were there the club names arent correct etc unlike Fifa with every clubs and leagues,the last PES games i played were 06,08 and 09 and there were fun and also crap.

FIFA 14, just a huge steaming pile of sh*t. Retarded AI, not enough new content, absolute sh*t servers, same bugs and glitches as FIFA 12 and FIFA 13 with new bugs, Career mode menus lag like sh*t on PS3 and Xbox 360 making that mode almost unplayable and it's unbalanced. Basically everything that can be broken in a football sim is broken in FIFA 14. Also the fact that EA has no intention of fixing the game says enough.

Saints Row 3, Sleeping Dogs & Mafia II aren bad. However, you're right on Saints Row 4, didn't like the story. Started off as a gang-banger to a celebrity then to the President of the United States & now leader of what's left of the human race. Aliens killed Saints Row 4. Only played through once.
