Moments Where You've Felt Stupid in GTA

We've all had them.

 

I had a $1K bounty and decided to - for whatever reason - make a run for it the other day. Got to the submarine and felt good about it and was all the way out there, all satisfied with myself. What pops up - an armored truck right along the highway. Not one, but two other bounties go by. Reminder of time management in GTA - is $1K bounty worth that time when you can do 18 other things (Rooftop, etc) in the bounty time frame.

 

I've had so many instances where I've been driving around with a sticky on an NPC car and forgot about the sticky, then wondered what else was on the radio. Ooops.

 

Just wasted a random player coming at me in an Adder, who had to feel stupid that he was mid-throw with a grenade, which dropped right next to the car and blew it up.

Nothing quite like stepping directly into an oncoming bus to make you feel like a criminal mastermind.

Once, i killed a player blew up his PV, and he put a bounty on me for about 9000. I sent him an in game text saying thanks for the free money, about five minutes later he kills me and gets his money back.

Trusting someone who rolls up in a super or sports car honking their musical horn, only to get sticky bombed or AP Pistoled.

Right when the business pack came out, I went into FM for the first time in a long time. I was cruising the streets in my turismo when I saw some kid in a hideous Corquette start firing at me. Clearly being a jelly lil fag.

 

So I snipe him quite a number of times (maybe 4 or 5 re-spawns). Then I see him by my vehicle, and I know not to go over there. Sure enough I do though, and he blows me away with a sticky bomb.

This, except not an NPC but a crewmembers car just to mess with them, and a few minutes later and not wanting to here Gerry Rafferty again bad things happen.

Everytime I go outside for a smoke break, I come back and I'm the worst player in the world for a half hour.

 

 

I joined a lobby once and the guys were like "OMG level 104 this guy must be a killing machine".

 

Well, I drove them off a bridge, blew myself up, couldn't find decent cover when there was action, just ran around trying my best but failing at everything.

 

This was a bad one.

I feel silly all the time when i play GTAO

Two times that I always feel stupid:

 

1) Whenever I end up killing myself while trying to kill another player. Exploding myself, falling off the edge of a roof, crashing my Buzzard into a building, that sort of thing.

 

2) Every time another player kills me.

on the bright side, he went down $1000 since it cost that much to put a bounty on someone. ha, bet he felt stupid when he realized he wasted $1000.

When I thought that it was weird that people were always sending Rooftop Run and Coveted invites and turning them down.

First time i got killed with a bounty on me while i was driving my car.I was saying to myself "haaa you killed me but you 're gonna pay" and I paid,I paid...

Trying to kill someone while in my car while they are on foot facing the other way and i miss and they turn around and kill me thats gotta be the worst.

Each time I select passive mode to safely chase other players around on foot while constantly flipping them off just to get ran over and killed in an area that I thought was out of reach by vehicles.

I put $1000 bounties on people all the time just to mark them because the highlight player feature doesn't work for sh*t. Pissed I gotta wait 48 min between placing bounties. Everyone flashes when they kill someone. I wish they would implement a better way to mark players like pick a color or something and mark them till you unmark them.

i guess the dumbest thing i ever did was driving the western bagger that i had to a lsc that had two white dots, near it thinking they'll behave themselves, (wrong)!!

Was helping a random low level out in a mission where you had to steal a tanker and evade the cops. And Like an idiot, I kept shooting the cop cars, not realizing and eventually ended us up with a 5* wanted level.

When I try base jump off a mountain and he doesn't get into skydiving position fast enough and dies. Then I spend the next 5 minutes tumbling down the mountain because there aren't anymore good base jump spots.

I always try to trust other players but when they actually end up getting killed by them. I feel like a complete moron

When I believed the guy on the mic approaching me in his car, telling me not to shoot because he came in peace....i put my gun away to show him i also could be peaceful and he proceeded to shoot me.

 

I trusted no one after that moment. No one.
