The forgotten Banshee is surprisingly OK! :)

It's my favorite car to drive in GTA V. It just feels right. It isn't on rails like most of the other sports cars, but at the same time it isn't completely unruly at high speeds like the Comet or Surano. Like vipprimo said, the sports class is relatively balanced so it comes down to driver skill more than car selection in random races. I always get satisfaction of seeing this:

1. Ermac. Banshee

2. Elite_X_Sniper Elegy RH8

3. youremother Carbonizzare

4. poonpounder69 Carbonizzare

5. legendofpie Feltzer

6. KillerJay99 Elegy RH8

7. gettinmunny97 Elegy RH8

8. xXn0sc0pezXx Coquette

I do think that's also part of it - beating others with the supposedly better cars is always fun!

I didn't retry the Coquette as I owned one for ages so sort of skipped over it, but it does grip well, perhaps a bit too much if I remember rightly and understeers a little. The understeery cars have a tendency to snap into oversteer when pushed too hard and spin. The oversteery cars can be controlled but need plenty of braking to avoid overcooking it in corners. I think that's why I like the Banshee - it sort of sits in the middle. I must try a Fusilade out properly at some point...

Banshee should be a muscle car. The viper is powerful, but not supercar level. I don't consider it a sports car, but more of a high end muscle.

I find it driving very similar to a Ruiner. So yes i agree. I think both are about the same in speed/handling anyway. I have both, love both.
