It is time for PS4 / XBOX One version, isn´t it?

It would be so awsome to have a new version of GTA Online on the new consoles.

I mean Rockstar did such an amazing job with gta online on the old XBOX or PS consoles. But the new generation offers so much better hardware. 16 x more RAM tahn 360 ( only 512 MB), 8 cores and modern graphics chips.

We could have a higher resolution, much more details and perhaps more players in a lobby.

inb4 n64 version

As someone who already owns a current gen console, I'd rather wait to see what the first major DLC is going to be before talking about ports.

Heists are not even out yet and you're asking for a next-gen version.

PS4 port would be a year plus away, if it does ever happen. Would be nice though, and hopefully the stats transfer over.

it would be cool to have gta online on ps4 or xbone. perhaps we would have 32 players in a lobby or even 64? i guess there would be the hardware power for that.

I learnt my lesson of buying a console on release that doesn't have any games (PS3, 3DS...).

I won't be buying a PS4 until around this time next year at the earliest. The price will be slashed and it'll actually have games.

Despite the obvious graphic enhancements, games that are released within the first year of a console suck, they are poorly optimised and don't take advantage over the systems power, since a lot of games are ports or initially developed for the previous consoles.

Your fault for buying a console that's barely 6 months old, you knew what you were getting and what games are released and going to be released in the near future.

I wouldn't buy a PS4 with GTA unless it was certain that PS4 and PS3 players could play together online. I would hope they could but this would be a deal breaker for me.

Agreed. For awhile, the "ps3 haz no gaemz" meme was painfully accurate, and it's true for the PS4 as of right now. First world problems, amirite?

I think buying a console on launch day is something every gamer should experience though, I started the 7th gaming generation with a 360 a little over a year after launch and eventually switched to PS3 a little over mid gen.

I'd never owned a console right at the start of the generation until November when I got my PS4. Few games? Definitely but I don't regret it at all, if I had of got rid of my PS3 I wouldn't be happy at all but currently my PS3 gets more use than my PS4, its beautiful knowing I have it there and knowing it will provide great escape and entertainment for the years to come.

I understand the logic behind being an early adopter, but I'm patient/stingy enough to wait it out until I feel the purchase is worth it (I almost never buy games until they drop below $40 either). Plus I like to wait at least a few months to hear reports, reviews, and wait for any major bugs to be ironed out.

Besides, I usually play games on PC, so having a console is a low priority thing for me until at least a handful of solid exclusives come out.

What do you take Rockstar for?! EA?!

If you want to play a half finished game on an Xbox One, for double the price, ask EA, they're classless c*nts that specialise in this.
