mastershake616
I just bought Bully: Scholarship Edition for $3.47. It's as if the developer is cleaning house right now. There's a 75% off sale going on, meaning titles like Red Dead Redemption and Max Payne 3 are selling for under $7.50. I'm a guy who's been late to the party many a time, and having just finished Max Payne 3, I'm not missing out on the chance the swipe these titles up and hit the R* cycle. The only thing they've published this (last?) era that hasn't blown me away is that ping pong game, which is actually good, but, you know...it's ping pong. What's the difference between Bully and Bully: Scholarship Edition? I played Bully on the PS2 years ago, but never finished it. I look forward to re-visiting that and giving Midnight Club: LA a spin. Why the hell not? Ten freakin' dollars for the both of them.--no need for a poll Edited March 19, 2014 by Voodoo
iiConTr0v3rSYx
There's no difference between the two, I think. And I'm buying it after I get off work tomorrow! Please buy Max Payne 3, people! Underrated game. Th3MaN1 and mastershake616

Mista J
It's supposed to be in your face shooting, why would they ruin it by adding stealth? Th3MaN1 and The Odyssey
IDredMan
It's supposed to be in your face shooting, why would they ruin it by adding stealth? Because Sam Fisher demands it! Also, Max Payne 3 is $5. Not $7.50. And I'm pretty sure the sale is for Saint Patrick's day.

mastershake616
There was one instance and one instance only when stealth came into play in Max Payne 3, and I'm not even sure if it was actually considered stealth, since all you did was shoot a couple of guys with a silenced pistol and move on without notifying any of the subsequent enemies for the briefest period of time. That is not to the detriment of the game, though. Max Payne has never been about using stealth tactics. He even goes on to acknowledge, through his narration, that he's always been about taking the straightforward approach even if it isn't the smartest move to make it in that moment. Is the game linear? Yes. But is linear always a bad thing? Not when there is a rocksolid story being told to offset what might be considered repetitive and give the player more incentive to push forward. All this said, there is still somewhat of an exploring element to Max Payne 3. There are collectibles to be found, clues to be found, and detailed levels that you may or may not wish to play around with during the course of the campaign. I finished the game for the first time two years after it was released after buying it for $20, which to me was a deal because it felt through and through like a game that was worth full retail price. Misbegotten cad
Where i live, older rockstar titles are still quite highly prized, even second hand. About 20+euros each. And this is true even of PS2 and PSP titles. PC titles are different matter, but then, I do not play PC games these days...

Shane_Dbns
@blood-is-in-diamond Any resident evil after 4 is crap and don't even come close to TLOU so saying resident evil is better is like saying Saints row 3 is better than gta v. Goldn-Bayse
What's the difference between Bully and Bully: Scholarship Edition? I played Bully on the PS2 years ago, but never finished it. I'm pretty sure Scholarship edition had acheivments, extra classes (Biology, Math, Geography and Music if I remember correctly). And I think a few missions for Christmas. P.S isn't it strange there was a R* sale For PSN about a Month ago, Steam had one last week, XBL is having one now and PSN also has a GTA sale this week? iiConTr0v3rSYx
You can't count the number of times the've been a deal for GTA 4 and RDR on the marketplace. Although, I don't remember them being this good. Th3MaN1
Moth
There's no difference between the two, I think. There is a difference. Scholarship Edition was pretty much an enhanced remake. They added new missions, added new classes and a few new rewards.( like maps for all of the collectibles). Plus it was on a new engine, with better graphics. Pretty much a better game in every respect except for the fact that the PC port was sh*t at the time.
mastershake616
It's not really up to the standard of the era graphically, but yeah, in playing the first few tasks of the Scholarship Edition I can see a pretty large difference from the PS2 version. Fun game. Midnight Club is interesting. There are some very apparent similarities to GTA V's map. Minus Blaine County, it's largely the same.
