ln the few months GTA has been out, Rockstar has learned alot but GTA Online is still Rockstar's baby. They're growing with the game, while adding, tweaking and sorting things in the game.

Where do you see GTA Online in a year from now? Do you think Rockstar will have Online nearly mastered by then?

[Nearly mastered as in no exploits with cash, unfair advantages, all glitches patched and things like that]

Pretty sure a year from now it'll be dead.. not fully but definitely at least 50% worse than it is now in terms of population (let's face it, less people are playing it than the first 3 months it was out there)

 

More games are slowly releasing, and this game is barely fixing its exploits and glitches as they bring in new ones, then there's the heists problem which will probably end up not being worth the wait in the end,

I wouldn't be surprised if it's buggy and players start taking advantage of it badly

At this rate? Probably not too different than it is now. Maybe with a slightly smaller playerbase.

 

But if it goes to next gen and R* actually release substantial updates frequently and win this war against hackers, than it could be amazing. It's just hard to believe that given the way things have been going.

It will either be a huge success with a wonderful player base, PC and next gen versions, constant free and cheap DLC, more content, heists, missions etc.

 

Or it will be a glitch and hacker ridden, stale, boring, tank filled, cesspit.

Ok, maybe if they keep pumping out content and keep it fresh. But if they stop and it gets plagued by hackers like GTA IV, this game is screwed.
