Why No Fuel Gauge

We have fuel stations but yet it seems our cars and the ones we twoc seem to run on air. Why don't our cars ever run out?

A speedometer would be more useful than a fuel gauge in a game that doesn't require you to fuel your vehicle.

I'd be burning through money for gas faster than I do for ammo and car mods combined. And knowing R* and their parodies of America? It'd cost a session of RR to fill up any car that isn't the Surge, Voltic, or Khamelion.

Man... there has to be a balance with realism vs. we are playing a freaking game.... remember being forced to eat in SA? Having to work out or loose your muscles? It would suck to have to check your fuel gauge before and adventure, or to have the alternator die on you in the middle of the desert...

right, right... no fuel gauge... what is a fuel gauge? I can think of one Gauge...

 

But really, I loved in GTA IV when you were a cab passenger and you could look around the interior. Could do with that feature along with working gauges.

there are much more important things than a fuel gauge, hell the steering wheel in the car doesn't even move. the character's arms act like the wheel is moving but if you look, it doesn't actually move.

Tanks will also need gas...imagine a tank in a gas station filling up? That's ultimate equalizer to trolls

I would actually enjoy having a fuel gauge that isn't too realistic. It would give people an initiative to drive hybrids.

i would settle for it being optional in the menus. Or make a hardcore mode where you need fuel and have to obey traffic laws and things like that.

Getting chased for speeding was one of the most annoying things about Mafia II. Honestly, the only feature they should have made optional is a speedometer.

Anyways, if this was implemented in GTA, I would definitely switch to the Voltic and Surge for my racing and mission transportation.

You want realistic fuel? Cool. Well the Adder is based off the Veyron, so if you were driving it at full speed for 7 minutes in real life all the fuel would be gone. So that's 14 seconds in-game.

The Getaway or Mafia I had turn signals I think.

In-Car view should be in VI if they improve the interior detail.
