Trying to find a good SUV

Recommended Posts

which Baller did you try? the regular Baller (boxy) or the Baller Sport (V2)?

if it was the Sport i want to say you should try it again. i would put it in the top 3 for sure. i think it felt like it was on ice to you probibly because you were over driving it, as in you were being heavy on the throttle. i feel like most people tend to over drive vehicles a lot. although you should just really try them all a couple times for comparison to find the one your most comfortable with.

and yes, i am a little bias in case your wondering.

it's an older pic, i've sold a couple of them since it was taken.

Looking for best acceleration and traction...

dubsta then...hands down..i would be willing to bet 0 to 60 full modded its faster than any SUV...The baller has a higher top speed, but lacks the ability to stay tight on turns...

wrong...dubsta suck for tight cornering, OP try the Beejay XL

would agree on the cornering, Baller turns ok if you don't push it past it's limits. 0-60 in the dubster the fastest? you might want to check again and don't just hammer the throttle at the start when you do it. if you do then yeah it's gonna sit there and spin. roll into it to get it moving, then hammer it. same applies to all vehicle in this game.

No visual mods, but the Obey Rocoto handles well, is fast and looks nice.

The turning on it is terrible. According to stats and what I've read, the Ford Edge is one of the best SUVs...yet it looks like a minivan and Dereck Jeter sure as Hell doesn't drive it

i've heard the same thing a few times, but never got around to checking it out though. didn't even realize it was in the SUV class till about a month ago.

I'm laughing at anyone denying the Baller v2 straight line performance, it is faster accelerating than tons of the cars in this game. Try racing a fully modded Baller 1 or 2 and see how many laps you can stack on the Dubsta owner.

Last custom SUV race I was in raced my Dubsta versus 2 ballers and some others.

Sold the Dubsta within ten minutes of finishing the race. Yeah, it looks great, does well offroad as a bonus. Doesn't matter.

OP said he wanted performance, and the Dubsta is not in consideration.

Radius is hideous but I continually read best handling, top of class, whatever, wouldn't be caught dead in one though.

Baller 2 is a rocket in a straight line, understeering pig, fun to play with awd in rain.

Baller 1 is a lil slower, same understeer-all-the-time handling, looks awesome imo.

Rocoto I felt was good all around, drove one for awhile but never invested in turbo, tranny and EMS 4 so can't speak to handling with more power than stock.

The Dubsta definitely gets my vote, there's slightly better options if your looking at speed alone and technically the Rocoto is better as an all rounder but the Dubsta comes out on top if you ask me...

Stylish, pretty good acceleration, good top speed, good handling, probably best in class off-road performance.

For me its the most fun, practical and best option.

bloatedsack

Ive tried the Baller, drives like its on ice. The gresley, radius, BJxl. Is there one you guys find has best overall performance?

Dubsta.

Good as an SUV racer.

Good for freeroam tomfoolery/offroad stupidity.

Acceptable as a mission truck.

Great customization options.

Timeless look.

Yes, but this is the same argument Adder users use. Baller 2 can't turn well, it does handle like a rocket but like a rocket it really can't turn (unless it's a guided missile LOL)

Haha yes, I also have an Adder and sold that hideous Entity. Difference is the Dubsta just looks bad ass as f*ck and it's mediocre to drive, while the Entity is hideous with best in class performance.

I stand by what I said, the Dubsta's performance is underwhelming compared to Baller v2, and likely the Rocoto.

there you have it OP, lots of reason as to which and why, but really though it ends up with which one your going to feel comfortable with. out of the two you've narrowed it down to then i'd say go for the Dubster for an all arounder IMO.

Really liked the Radius, I just felt like a soccer mom driving it

I mean, other than the dubsta, which are you not gonna feel like a soccer mom in? Just happened to find both the radius and the surrano, on paper, the radius has higher top end speed. Just need to find a roccotto, now.
