game keeps crashing

so i was playing a bit online today at least 2 missions but when i jacked a car the game frozed. Then i restarted my ps3 and tried to play again but not 10 minutes later it froze again.

 

is this a recent problem or is my ps3 going boonkers?

Yep it's a recent problem that came with patch 1.11. Most ps3 users are experiencing this problem ATM and it's really aggravating. Hope R* fixes it soon

It's the online service, something messed up recently and is causing crashes. Play GTA V while signed out and watch as you never have a single issue.

 

 

My game wouldn't even load if i was signed in...

It's getting out of hand to the point where you think someone is doing it to you R* are so oblivious to their game's problems sometimes

What's annoying about this is when you're in a dogfight in a Lazer & the noise of the cannon keeps going while the game is frozen..

Haven't played in 3 days since it froze and my PS3 took 4 hours to check for errors. I'm level 126 anyway so no desire to play anymore. Waiting for the next DLC.

last night my game freeze for 5th time since 1.11

 

it was in the middle of a huge battle between 9 players. police all over the place, people talking and screaming on their mics, bullets/explotions everywhere, then i knew the freeze was coming when there was a bit of lag...

 

5 seconds later, all the talking stops, all the gun fire stops and my console is frozen with the police siren looping in the background.

 

really annoying stuff!

I haven't had full freezes, but today it took a while to go from mission to free roam and vice versa...anyone else experiencing that type of issue?

 

It wasn't like 25 seconds instead of 15, it was like 2-3 minutes.
