Please Help: Can't store Merryweather Mesa?

After beating Stocks & Scares I decided to take the Merryweather Mesa I used to deliver the briefcase to LSC. I fully mod it only to realize there's no option for tracker & insurance! Sure enough I can't store it in my garage or sell it to LSC even though they let me spend my money to mod it! Can anyone help me figure out how to store it? I'd usually research but I'm in a public lobby frantically avoiding other players so the Mesa won't get destroyed. Thanks for any quick tips you can provide!

You cant garage mission vehicles any more. All that money on mods is wasted.

Oh man...that's so messed up. If they wouldn't allow it in LSC like police cars I'd be ok but this really sucks that they took all my money but won't let me keep it

Ouch... nothing you can do except the "Store any car in garage" glitch. If you're not down with glitches, then your best bet is to send Mercs after somebody in Free Roam, let a full car get killed, and jack that Mesa for your own.

Yeah. The ones you cant keep are ones that spawn in missions or gang attacks

Also you can't store the one stolen from gang attacks either.

 

The only ones that can be stored are the ones brought in via the SP/MP or from a merc attack on you.

 

Have a friend call the mercs on you, kill em and steal the Mesa.

 

If you really want one you an go to the Duping or Car Giveaway thread in the groups/meet up section and ask for one and someone will give you one without anything in return.

I mainly wanted to try it as an offroad vehicle...don't like the Sandking or Mammoth Patriot

Have a friend call the Mercenaries on you. Either kill them all and take a Mesa yourself or have your friend jump into one of them when they get out of it to come attack you.

When you take it off road, its only really good at flipping over onto its roof.

 

Get a bohdi or a Rancher

Yep swagman is correct, only ones you can keep are from mercs or any other instance from freeroam (any vehicles from missions and gang attacks are not storable if they are related to the mission)
