Great, I can't wait to see Polygon Trevor duking it out with people. Is it only doing that for Trevor, or are the other characters affected by it, too? And it looks like the radar is a bit messed up as well.

For some reason, just Trevor. I switched to him, and found him sleeping in a dumpster lol. There's nothing wrong with the radar; I just set it to where the streets aren't visible. Helps me learn my way around. Also, YouTube is being stupid. Would you like me to send it to your email? It's just a quick 10 second or so video of him fighting paramedics

I have noooo clue. I switched from Micheal in a cargo plane to him so I could find him, and he popped up like that. Another odd thing is that the game is only spawning maybe 4 types of vehicles. The charger, whatever car Tracy has, a type of jeep, and a sports car.

Seriously though, how the hell could something like this even happen? I've never ever had this happen to me. Are you playing on Xbox or playstation? Xbox seems to have more glitches than the playstation version because of the separate discs and also because the 360 is old hardware. I would assume it's on Xbox but I could be wrong. Can you tell me how I could perform this glitch? I'd like to mess around with it.

Seriously though, how the hell could something like this even happen? I've never ever had this happen to me. Are you playing on Xbox or playstation? Xbox seems to have more glitches than the playstation version because of the separate discs and also because the 360 is old hardware. I would assume it's on Xbox but I could be wrong. Can you tell me how I could perform this glitch? I'd like to mess around with it.

To be honest, I was editing a lot of stuff in a save editor. God mode, max cash/ammo, all clothes, UFO appears at Chilliad, random vehicles in different garages, etc. I'm thinking once I turned on invisible mode for Trevor(it gave you a warning saying it's still in beta) and turned it back off, he turned into a Thumb Thumb lol

edit: actually, I'm confident it's the invisible setting. If you want to test this, turn the invisible mode on, play around until it freezes (this might have something to do with it), and then go back to the SE, and turn it off.

Another theory, I switched to another character while he was invisible, forgot about it, saved as another character so I could edit him, and then after editing that save, it happened. These types of mode like god mode only seem to work with the character you saved as and not all three, so the game tried rendering the invisible mode, and failed horribly haha

No thanks. I don't use Save Editors as I'm scared I might completely f*ck up my game. That and I rather get a 100% legitimately. No offense to you at all, I just don't see the fun in it. The cheats that are in the game are lame as hell to begin with.

I said the same until I tried it out. Just make a backup save, and use that one if you want. The save editor really has some fun cheats. God mode, North Yankton weather effects, vehicles you can't access in the game, ability to change your license plate, and if anything, fixes the garage bug R* never bothered fixing. The only risk would be is if you edited one of your primary saves, and did something that corrupted your save file. It's personally added more game play for me considering I didn't pick up GTA V for about three weeks. But I understand why you wouldn't do it.

Using a save editor doesn't affect 100% completion, or "beating the game." I use it only for vehicle spawning and modding, nothing more. And all you do is create a backup. In fact, the editor creates a backup for you, so if something ever would go wrong, you have a backup...

Welcome to the club...Like you pointed out above. If you go on a rampage in the editor click click click click click clicking everything, sh*t like this is KNOWN to happen. It's always recommended to only do one or two things at a time. Not 20 things at once, lol

Personally, I keep all my mastersaves that are perfect for EVERY GTA game on my PC, amongst other games, as my PS3 is from 2008 and it's that backward compatible, old PS3. It could die on me any time, now, so I always back my stuff up on my PC so I never lose my 100% completion mastersaves.

 

And yeah, using the editor makes the game more fun. Sitting in front of your TV waiting for a vehicle to spawn takes hours and days. It's less or a headache getting what you need with a click of a button and knowing you'll always have it. Even if something goes missing (thanks to Rockstar's bug) then you can get it back instantly with a save editor. So yeah, this is the way to go. But not the way to go with clicking 11000 things in the editor all at the same time. Only one or two small changes at a time.

Lmao I learned the hard way. When that screen came up, I was like a kid on Christmas. Luckily, I made these saves specifically for the flash drive

Yeah, good idea. I even keep a perfect 100% completion, 0 cheat codes used mastersave on my PC, including GTA III, VC, SA, IV and other video games I own.

 

The mastersave @ 100% completion and 0 cheat codes used is also with save editing modifications, but my game doesn't have ANY bugs or glitches from the editor. So my save is clean and it'll remain clean. I don't use the editor rarely anymore since I did everything I can possibly want to do and store. I am just waiting on the next DLC for the Pegassi Zentorno and Dewbauchee Massacro, and after that I won't update or save the game ever again. And will back up that mastersave then and call it a day with GTA V and updating/editing, etc...
