Adventureboy820
You know, kinda like Undead nightmare for rdr. New campaign for single player. In online there could be new zombie hunter clothes, and new weapons. Also, some new survival maps where you face off against zombies. And lets not forget an online free roam. Would you want this dlc? Got any more ideas for a zombie dlc? 95allday and MurderIsNice

cswood
I could be cool if they really put some work into it (which means it would probably not be free). Having a free roam server where the buildings are on fire/smoking and there are tons of abandoned cars blocking the roads so it's hard to drive through and disabling helicopters so you can just fly all over the map or camp on a high building (unless you climb a ladder). New vehicles could be heavily armored cars/trucks or even a bus similar to the shuttle buses in Dawn of the Dead (2004), a spiked bat, crossbow, etc. I don't see how survivals would work since the zombies aren't shooting back it would be easy to just load up on weapons and pick them off even if they are running, the auto shotty would end them pretty quick. Maybe you can only use handguns and melee weapons in the survivals? Maybe then we can finally buy molotovs at ammunation. backward_axis
I'm a huge fan of the Zombie Apocalypse genre, but I'm going to have to go with no on this one. I would love to see an awesome open world, survival-based zombie game, but not if it would just amount to R* making NPCs aggressive and cars disappear. No, it should be its own unique and separate game and not be shoehorned into GTA.

CantThinkOfOne2013
Yes, for story mode and online. Not for the novelty of killing zombies, but for the atmosphere.
Shabazz916
yes only basic weapons but you should be put in groups and tasked with getting to certain spots and bring things to certain area's

Rockstar would deserve it if they made zombies really well, so I wouldn't mind paying for great content either. They pulled off Undead Nightmare so l can't see why they couldn't again

IH8PITT
Absolutely not. Zombies are getting tired and overdone, and they don't really fit into the GTA universe. Leave that sh*t for games that need it to make up for deficiencies in game content, like Call of Duty.

Mattyp1514
No, it doesn't work for this game. It worked for RDR but thats not even close to the same game as GTAO. The comparison is pointless other than the same developer. People need to stop forcing this idea.

The comparison is pointless other than the same developer. People need to stop forcing this idea. Explain how it doesn't work for this game but does for others? COD is an FPS that doesn't have a survival mode, so they added zombie survival in a setting that worked. COD is nothing like GTA in any sense. RDR is a cowboy shooter that isn't set in present day, meaning it could step even further outside the realm of reality and add zombies. It's a story about a bounty hunter that could add a zombie story line in a lot more seemlessly than GTA. The govt was the bad guy in RDR, which is usually the case in zombie movies/games as well, so that story line made sense. GTAO is a modern day shooter that is about stealing cars and blowing sh*t up...no story, no reason to create zombies, it would feel more as zombies just showing up for nothing. There's no bad guy corporation, there's no omnipotent entity that would control this...it would just be forced into the game for the sake of zombies. We have redneck survival mode, thats zombie enough for me.

Merryweather isn't always the bad guy as you can make them work for you. It would be an incredible stretch to make merryweather the bad guy. You even said they "could"...it needs to be obvious to be worth its salt. I love zombie modes/games/movies but it has to be done right.

"oh hell ya'. Maybe a VineWood Style Movie pack DLC with aliens and zombies featured in survival and co-op based mission. For people like you, you could just simply choose not to play it.
