Heist Cooldown Time

Sorry if this has been asked before but do you guys think there will be a cool down time between doing heist? Like the cool down time with selling cars at lsc?

I hope they're amazing and give out massive payouts (100k-200k) but have a 3 or 4 day cool down time and if you leave your apartment during that time you get automatic 3 star wanted level.I really hope they're fun,complicated and difficult and not just larger paying missions.

Well, I doubt Martin needs documents recovered 3 times in one day from the same garage.

 

Lester repeatedly needs Titans and I continuously give them to him.

 

When I break into the army base to steal a Cargobob one would think that the army would figure out how to stop me more efficiently after my 3rd try.

 

I don't think there would be a cooldown time anymore than there is for missions now. That's only speculation though.

Well heists are supposed to be completely different from missions. I just highly doubt you'll be able to just farm them for cash. Plus don't you need a certain number of JP before you can do one?

Why don't the mods just make an official heist thread like they did with the "Share Your Stories" thread and have all heist related conversation in there so we don't have the forum cluttered with Heist threads there is always at least 1 heist related topics an hour sometimes if not more

It wouldn't surprise me at all. Either that, or heists will only be initiated when one of your contacts (e.g. Lester, Martin, Trevor, etc..) randomly calls you about it.

you need 500 jb points to start a heist.

jb points that disappear if you change sessions or log off so you would constantly have to farm missions to keep the game alive.

I honestly don't remember I want to say GI but that doesn't sound quite right Ill see if I can dig it up.

 

EDIT: Can't seem to find anything concrete but the general consensus is that JP is indeed tied in with the Heists you can preform.

The only reason I would see them not allowing us to farm is if they had a massive payout (I'm talking $250,000+). Otherwise, what would be the f*cking point of not allowing us to farm when we can farm everything else?

 

Also, the only source that said JP would be needed was someone who datamined a patch, I believe. It was the same file that lead people to believe heists would only have 50,000 dollar pay outs.

I don't understand why everyone is all hardcore-negative on the cash cards. I've never bought one, level 220, and with 7 million in the bank. Rockstar is not jamming them down throats. Maybe that feature is unlocked at level 300. I'm not there yet so I don't know. If you can't make money then you're playing it wrong.

 

It is like someone complaining how they can't beat Fallout 3 with high rankings and tons of cash in 7 hours.

R* has done silly things in the past -shrug- I just seriously doubt you can complete a heist go into your Jobs list (or heist list) and replay it.

Well, I wasn't able to play Rooftop like that at first, but eventually it happened. I just had to request jobs earlier. I could do 10 Rooftops a day in that fashion if the cards landed in my favor.

 

I have a feeling they will just be glorified missions with more steps to them. Otherwise, heists will fail if one character screws up. There would be no waiting time like in the single-player game. If a player leaves the session what happens then? They will most-likely have to be done all at once. Which technically just makes it a mission. Who knows? I don't.

In all seriousness tho, I don't see Hists being all that different from some of the more complex missions currently available in the game...

And I can't honestly see the payouts being all that much more than what we are currently getting.
