What was your first car and do you still have it?

My first car was an obey tailgater.

Got it through the introduction race and kept it until I could put insure it.

I even had to steal it back from some random dickhead who had pulled up next to me and shot me. He met an unfortunate ending with a 9mm piercing through is skull, marking my first ever playerkill.

I still own it. It sits proudly in my first ever Apartment next to my second car (a lime green vacca) in the same spot that I put it in nearly 7 year ago.

 

My secondaries first car was a sultan. Spawned in with her somewhere in downtown because I skipped the tutorial and there it stood in front of me.

All windows broken, front smashed in, bullet holes all over and one wheel running on the rim.

Took it to LSC, had the guys fix it up and gave it a home.

Still own it and recently gave it the second "rebuild" of its lifetime by taking it over to Bennys. Now it is a mean streetmonster and has once again become her daily driver.

First car on my old account was a Gauntlet. Remember using it so much at the beginning. Remember using it as cover for my grinding of Violent Duct during the first few days of the game. Felt sorry for it, being full of bullet holes and sh*t. Don't use that account anymore, since I forgot the password for that PSN account.

 

When I got a PS4, I created a new account and started fresh. So when I came back to GTA Online last summer, I started from scratch. Tried to get a Tailgater as my first car, but it disappeared before I had a chance of saving it. So I settled for a Zion. Still have it too in my first apartment on this character. Also recreated my Gauntlet from my first account too, so I got that too.(Sits right beside my Gauntlet Hellfire in the Nightclub's Garage)

I was backing up files on my external HD's, when I stumbled across a folder with all my old gta pics from back in the day.  I thought I had lost all this stuff years ago when an old PC died.

 

Anyway, the earliest pic of my first garage, time-stamped May 17th 2014, was in there.

 

 

My first 4 vehicles, all of which I still own.  Though not in the same color schemes.  Not sure what I was thinking with the Bati.  Gulf colors maybe.  My Elegy looks like I hadn't gotten around to modifying it yet.  Cool trip down memory lane...

Other than the Sentinel, I still have those too.  lol

Just FYI if you want to change your favorite motorcycle you need to drive another one and only that one for the whole time that you have driven your favorite one in total. If you switch to yet another personal motorcycle that resets the counter.

A good way to do this is to go into a contact mission, plug in your controller, and use the rubber band method to keep from being kicked out of the game while you leave the game on overnight. It took one night for me to change my favorite to the first Oppressor and two nights to change it to the OPmk2.

The Dominator.  My uncle drove one back when I was a kid.  He loved that car and use to tune it everyday.  sh*t was loud and fast.  lol  When I saw one in GTA I had to jack it.  8 years later and I still have it.  Even took it to Benny's.

Oh man, I did not realize it resets the counter when switching to a different bike. I like to ride all sorts of bikes when taking on the MC role. I assumed it was cumulative.

I might have to try this. Hopefully it doesn't take more than a day. My PS4 is is getting up there in age. Not sure how much time it could handle being on continuously.

My first car was the dominator that you get when you first join GTAO. I still have that car and I take it out once in awhile for the nostalgia of driving it (since I have many cars that are far better in terms of handling and speed).

It is cumulative for the favorite even when you change bikes; that's the weird part. For me it would take way too long, so I don't even bother. I'm fine with it anyway.

 

@Jamwes, did you have to move your bike for it to change while AFKing? I guess for the Op Mk II that's not a problem but for an ordinary bike it might make sense to jump onto the train.

I was moving both times. OPmk1 I was on the train and put the rubber band on turning my head. OPmk2 I was doing donuts at the airport. I don't know if you have to be moving, but since it was such a long time for me I wanted to be safe and be moving while waiting. I have a busted old controller so I didn't mind using rubber bands for long periods on it.

Unfortunately i don't remember my first char also due to lack of screenshots/videos i've made in early stages and this still hurts me, I think was the Schafter from the turorial, or the Premier... 

I remember the second tho and it's an Emperor stolen while i was catching those bounties for Maude. Sold days later because i wanted to buy it from the website. Among other early cars owned by my first char. is the Windsor from the CESP. I use this as my "first car".

Adding to this, this was on the first character I made in this game, I had hit about level 120 or 150 with it and then the "dead hooker glitch" dupe glitch was available and I exploited it, as a result of making too money too early into the game that didn't really had much to offer back then, the game quickly got old and boring now that I had nothing to do. So I deleted the character and started over again. 

 

With this second character, which is also the character I still have to this day, I had an Asea and a Western Bagger, the Asea I sold once I upgraded to a PS4 because it wasn't a rare car anymore, I still own the Bagger though.

 

And the first car I spent money purchasing was the OG Comet, which I also still own to this day.

Stole a Stock Sabre Turbo. Customized it at LSC, matte black on black with limo tint. Still have it today.

Mine was the Saber Turbo I got way back on the XB360 when GTA Online 1st started. IIRC I started playing it the 1st or 2nd day it launched. I still have my Saber Turbo and don't plan on getting rid of it. It's been with me a long time now between the XB360 and the transition to the XB1. I have only ever had one character account as well and never changed their appearance with the newer character creator either. I've been thinking of doing the Benny upgrade to it but then it won't be the same car anymore.

My first car in GTAO was a Declasse Tornado, jacked from Strawberry in October 2013 

 

 

It was originally silver but I changed it to classic '57 Bel Air red and white, and added the whitewalls later on. I owned this car before I was able to afford even a two-car garage - so much has changed in the game since then!

EDIT: I forgot to say I still have it, and because of the fold-down roof it's still a car I like to cruise around in. I am surprised I don't have that many photos, but I did use it as a test for a Top-Gear style 'Glamour' shoot when playing with the R* Editor a few years ago.
