Trying to do some simple maths...

Recommended Posts

Right so, as we know 48 irl minutes = 1 in game day.

I want to figure out how long in real life would go by for one year.

I'm bad at maths but here's what I did

(48 x 365) ÷ 60 = 292

So would that equate to 1 day 4 hours and 20 min irl?

I'm confused lol

I actually did the ÷ 24 on 292 but when saw 12.1666666667 as the answer, I doubted myself and got confused lol

You would never guess I use maths in my job every day...

:worried:

Come on then, show your workings lol

Show your working? Did you even finish school dude? 292 hours = little over 12 days. I explained it to you in my post. can you not read?

I used to hate my Maths teacher always asking for me to show my working. What the f*ck does it matter if the answer is right? lol

Hmmm.... online is supposed to take place "A few months" before the events of GTA 5, and yet my character has spent around 400 (in-game) days in San Andreas.... my "simple maths" don't adds up.

I remember seeing it on homework and in tests, I just thought I would use it myself lol

you need to do 292 hours ÷24 (hours in 1 day). That'll tell you how many days are in 292 hours.

Where the f*ck did you get 1 day 4 hours and 20 minutes.. Thats only 28 hours dude.

Nope, from the UK and as a kid, my maths lessons consisted of transforming my maths book into a flick book in every corner.

Oh and playing that game where you have to take it in turns to make squares against someone else.

And drawing caricatures of the maths teacher as a turkey. (He had a very flabby neck) hence the name turkey chin.

I only messed up my maths and french. All my other lessons were fine, hence why I have a decent job.

OP is obviously not asian :p

Or higher than giraffe pussy.

Hmmm.... stoned like a biblical whore? Never, not a respectable GTA player.

He's from the UK huh? Well that explains it.

Funny how the education system of America is proven to be lacking behind most other major countries, including the UK.

Don't believe me?

But the USA is still the world leader in Technology.

Also more students from around the world come to the US for higher education.

Hmmm..

Maybe.. what's learned in elementary to high school does not always matter in the real world..
