How to make a new .GTX file

Because I'm new in this forum(and probably it's the first time I'm posting here),I want to ask if it's possible to make a new language.gxt file(greek.gxt for example,due to the fact I'm from Greece) for GTA 3.Is it possible?

It's not possible because of lack of existing plugin for this in GTA3.

 

For GTA SA it's possible. I made a Language loader

BTW,in order to make a new .gxt file in San Andreas(greek.gxt for example).do I have to rewrite all game strings(in the new .gxt file I mentioned)in my language?

The game has a lot of texts used for menu, help and missions used by a script.

You should make a copy of one of R* GXT files.

For example, copy american.gxt and rename it to greek.gxt

 

The language of greek.gxt will be English at first, but it will turn into Greek as soon as you translate it.

 

Use my easy to use Language loader to register new GXT file.
