If you play from a disc then it more than likely your bluray laser lens. Depending on the model (original, 120 slim, 160 slim, super slim) you'll need to find a tut on how to clean it. The Super Slim is extremely easy to clean and the 160GB model is the easiest of the one that have to be opened.

 

I highly doubt that's the case since all my games work fine with no freeze at all but since the new patch, GTA V always freezes after a couple of minutes when playing. I have the 120 slim btw

 

Thats how it starts, with a single game. When my Bluray lens was dirty at first it only affected BF3, then RDR and then GTA IV and then every other game. You really should look into before it gets worse. In my case the laser lens on my 160GB died completely because i took to long address the issue. Went and got a Super Slim afterwards, much easier to clean.

 

I should note that after i got my new system i have only frozen once and that was due to a connection issue.

Because I used to play public lobbies all the time, and i've only ever been frozen once out of playing for two months. I'm not saying you're lying, but i'm also saying that there is no f*cking way you have that bad of luck. Like jesus, you should stop playing if you had that happen to you in such a small time period.

 

 

I'd call BS on this claim of only ever being frozen once in two months. I've experienced the same amount of freezes in a similar time-frame on occassion. I would agre it is either glitchers or more likely internet connection related. I very much doubt it's my console as I only bought that in September.

Hope your issue gets resolved. Freezing and loading errors in games are so irritating. I assume you've already tried this but you you could use the PS3s safe mode options to clean the HDD up a little, might help.

 

Also a little tip for you. If you do not have the proper screw driver to take out the Torx screws under the front of the system you can just use a knife with a small tip. You just gotta angle it right and it'll get the job done.

Yep, I already tried cleaning up the HDD,and don't worry bout that, I got all the tools for opening it up

I knew that dumb little c*nt was going to die. They spoiled it in the previews last week when they showed her flailing about and falling on the ground and reaching her hand out towards her companions as the walkers closed in. It was obvious. And everyone knows by this point that the writers aren't afraid to kill off little girls.

I haven't watched the Walking Dead. But I heard its a great show and I don't want to get sucked into it. I just cant deal with that kind of commitment right now :p

I need to level up one character and win more races with the other..

Has anyone bothered to clear their cache lately?

I cleared mine and have frozen in the past few days.
