I have a red LA Alto Sax that I played in marching band in high school. Don't pick it up much anymore.. neighbors would probably complain, haha.

I don't have a pic so.. here's an idea. Mine doesn't have the embroidery.

I play guitar, mostly tenor, but also have a baritone (built it from a fender strat with a bari neck), and a fender P bass. I've been playing for about 12 years or so.

My main axe with my main amps, '88 Les Paul studio, Laney GH50l, and a '76 Fender Quad Reverb (basically a twin reverb with a 4x12 cab instead of a 2x12). I also have a Fender Thinline Jaguar (I'll try and find a picture of it to put up - it's gorgeous) and an ibanez acoustic.

I also played clarinet and tenor sax in middle school and high school, but didn't stick with it.

I've been playing piano for nearly a lifetime. Composing and recording music has always been my one true passion. My current instrument is a Korg Triton, bought in 2001 and still swear by it: 30ndrt2.jpg

It definitely could depending on what you're doing with it. Tuvan throat singing and gregorian chants have way more of an instrumentality than somebody singing a pop song.

What about Northern Cree 49er songs?

Moonshield's instrument is also highly erotic.

I have a white schecter that's missing a string. I need to get it replaced soon. It looks like this:

I also have a keyboard that I hardly play anymore. Casio something.:ph34r:

Been playing acoustic guitar for about 4 years now, got pretty good at it too. I remember when I first started learning how those f*cking barre chords destroyed my fingers and how impossible I thought they were.

Lighter strings always help when you're playing barre chords. That said, I have flat wound 14s on my Les Paul, so they're heavy as f*ck.

I 'play' piano.

What I mean by that is that I got up to grade 7, then Secondary school decided it didn't like me having enough time for more than one hobby, and piano wasn't exactly top of my to-do list.

That said, I liked playing Jazz. Fun, but I wish I didn't have tiny hands - can barely reach a key below an octave, if that.

My main guitar

I play guitar and piano 50/50. As far as piano goes, I have an east german Zimmerman upright.

Other guitars:

1976 Fender Strat

197? Washburn falcon:

Squier P bass

Fender California series Strat:

Ibanez SDGR bass

And perhaps my favorite guitar:

Electric classic nylon string guitar:

202098.jpg

Which can be heard in this: https://soundcloud.com/marwinmoody/learning-to-play-the-flute (This was recorded to demonstrate how awful the recorder(flute instrument) sounds)

Those are some of my instruments, I do have many more though.

I am studying for a Master's degree in music, with guitar as my main instrument; I am however considering switching to piano :)

Well they do get really easy to play with time anyway. I mostly use barre chords now.

Yep, guitar, guitar, and more guitar. Not professionally but out of sheer NEED TO, and I don't aim to entertain anyone else but myself, but at one point I owned 7 guitars, was getting something of a collection together, one bass, all electric, one slim body acoustic Songbird (Guild)

I play the flute...

But seriously, I started playing guitar about 5 years ago. I'm really shy so I only play when I'm with my teacher or when I'm alone.

I have 2 guitars (I don't have pics but they look like this):

Someone mentioned difficulty with Barre Chords, they're your absolute friend if you're new to guitar, get a handle on holding multiple strings anywhere on the fret board, it comes in handy even if you're augmenting

I own an acoustic Yamaha guitar. I heard a few songs played acoustically and it gave me a boner. A manly musical boner, that is. From then on, the guitar has had a lovely journey from within it's carrying case.

...anyone know of any tips to learn to play guitar without a physical tutor? I'm a poor, poor white boy and ain't got money for that.

The only instrument I own is a (cheap) guitar. It was only a couple hundred bucks when I bought it in '06/'07, but I just wanted something to learn how to play. Can I play it? Absolutely NOT!! I just never bothered to learn haha.

One day though, one day...

You can copy the image and paste it directly into the reply box.

I won't post a picture since it's just an upright piano.

It's a nice upright piano though.
