Tempahrelapse
List them here. Mine are: GTA IV Deus Ex HR The Darkness Just Cause 2 Most Zelda games (which seem to be forgotten on website lists) Fallout 4 Skyrim Sleeping Dogs Beyond Good and Evil Assasins Creed 2 Xenoblade Chronicles  As for open-world games I need to play. Can only think of 2 Okami and STALKER  And Hotline Miami 2 should take an open-world approach.

Daz
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon Retro City Rampage Fallout 3 Fallout: New Vegas Skyrim Saint's Row 2 Far Cry 3 (if you ignore the terrible storyline) Just Cause 2 Skate 1&2 Minecraft State of Decay Defiance Test Drive Unlimited 2 Sleeping Dogs Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction Driver 1,2&3 All GTA games from 1 to San Andreas. Â All I can think of for open world at least. Â That doesn't include games with loading screen transitions between areas, otherwise there would be more. What games are good with loading screens in between. The only one I played is The Darkness
Daz
What games are good with loading screens in between. The only one I played is The Darkness I mean that the whole game world isn't broken up into either levels or loading screens, as you could argue that even the Metal Gear Solid series was open world if you consider that a factor into it. Â But like you said, Deus Ex: HR, an amazing game but I didn't list it to cut down the list. Also that there are the odd few hub worlds, but it is mostly level based and can't backtrack to areas. Another example would be the Hitman series (excluding absolution) which were great games and even though it was level based, each mission was it's own free roam area with loads to do and explore. Â So that was my reasoning behind the more condensed list.
CantThinkOfOne2013
GTA V Saints Row 2 Sleeping Dogs Just Cause 2 Â ... to name a few, open world games are my favourite genre of game, shame a lot of them are underrated.
Zancudo
I wonder why you guys bother making those long lists, without even explaining every game. As if someone really cared about your top 30 favourite open-world games...
Tempahrelapse
I wonder why you guys bother making those long lists, without even explaining every game. As if someone really cared about your top 30 favourite open-world games... I guess some people are lazy,or short for time that's why people don't bother with descriptions. As for the list, I like them as there might be the odd game I haven't come across or have forgotten about.
