It will bring up the player info page, more-or-less the same as you'd see if you go to Pause Menu --> Online --> Players. Doing it the way this loading screen suggests is a great way to get shot in the face though.

How "hold select/back button" ? What buttons they and you are talking about? We have d-pad buttons (left,right,up,down), triangle, x, circle, square, L1,L2,R1,R2,L3,R3, select, start, ps button. Where is "back" button?

It's okay to view your mates stats and stuff, but i would never even bother using it in public
