Jc_39a
Can you share it between two devices? for example, my phone and my brother's phone. and can we use it at the same time? Is it worth the £10 a month? and How long have you being using it for?

robban
You can only use one account on one device at a time and only playback music in shuffle mode. It's nice to be able to listen to music in offline mode with the Premium option. I have been paying for one month at a time once in a while for the most part and sometimes rip the music to mp3:P
Moonshield
Spotify is free???? Not the premium account without ads and mobile streaming. Honestly, I think it is worth the sub. Access to anything that's also on the itunes library is a good mobile supplement to having your own library on your phone. You should be able to use your login info on both yours and your brother's devices - I'm not sure about streaming at the same time however. It's pretty cheap as well when you consider that you can take 1000 songs or so into your own private collection -- iTunes would charge you a hell of a lot more for that. I know it's comparing apples (heh) with oranges because with Spotify you're effectively renting the songs that you play as opposed to buying them outright -- but ever since I've got Spotify Premium I've never looked back, buying only one song (and that was a charity single). Regarding the two devices question you can definitely use the same details on as many devices as you want (as far as I know) but only one of those devices will be able to play music at one time. When I first got it I kept trying to play music on my phone while the app was still open on my laptop; I thought that the app or the device were broken at the time but when I realised that my phone could play music when my laptop was off or when I was logged out the penny dropped. Anyone who is considering upgrading to Premium may also qualify for a student discount of just over 50% if they have an NUS card or a UniDays account. Makes the Premium account stuff almost a completely non-expense, even for a poor boy like myself...
