KatanaDV20
Hey guys,  I hear that if Michael manages to steal an intact Gruppe 6 security truck you can get an endless source of money   Apparently you steal the truck and store it in your garage & save your game. You then go back to your garage and blow the truck up & collect the loot. You can see where this is going. When the newly spawned truck reappears in garage you nuke it again.... $$$$$$$$  But I havent been able to pin this down for sure and unsure wether its just a GTA5-myth  Anyone tried this? Ive so far been unable to whack a security truck as the doors are always locked anyway?? I guess thats the other issue - is it even possible to steal one and drive it away. I guess you have to catch the driver in the act of getting in? Edited March 16, 2014 by KatanaDV20
Lethal Vaccine
Yes, you CAN steal these. Back in October I tried opening the doors to one to throw the guy out and get in, but the doors were locked. But lately I been able to just open the passenger side front door and get in and drive away. Â Never tried storing one of these though, I only ever was interested in storing a Police Riot, which is way more armored than this and also is bulletproof. But the Riot has a very similar body style to this Brute Stockade.
CanOdope
I'm pretty sure I still have one in my garage on one of my saves... I'll try it later and confirm/debunk if no one else has by then.
chrisscorsese88
An easy way to steal one is to wait until after the guy puts the money in the back, and after the guy near the driver's side says "Yea, I'm starving, lets go eat" or whatever, as soon as he opens the door, shoot him. You can then drive away with the money in the back. Lethal Vaccine
KatanaDV20
@ Militia - good to know its possible to steal them. Theres that small town to the north (where the railway yard is). Just down from the Ammunation store is where Ive seen the most spawns of these security trucks. I havent noticed the riots yet, the most Ive seen is an SUV that looks like a Tahoe with the SWAT people hanging on outside it. If I see a Riot I'm all for stealing that too  @ CanOdope - nice, which garage do you use for that. I once managed to steal an army truck from the base but got to my garage forgetting it was too small  @ chrisscorsese88 - cant wait to try that. backfromthestorm
Yes you can. It was me who said about it a while ago in another thread. put itin your garage, blow it up, let the door close for a little while and reopen, rinse and repeat. Really not worth it though as you only get a few hundred every time. Edited March 17, 2014 by backfromthestorm
CanOdope
As soon as I saw the blip on my map, I snuck up behind a wall on the driver side. Waited for the driver to open the door, then sniped him. Â I parked it in Michael's garage at his home. If I remember correctly, I had to kinda ram it in there. Â The thing that disappointed me the most, is that you can't do hangouts with it... One time I was watching them and didnt do a THING and they drew their guns on me!  You never seen a Police Riot because you probably never was on a long enough 4 star or 5 star police chase. The Riot only comes out in roadblocks once you hit 4 stars. And more than likely, the roadblocks will be the Police Transporter, another armored, "bulletproof" vehicle, but it's WAY worse than the Riot and actually only needs a 3 star wanted level to run into. The Police Riot is actually semi-rare in that it's hit or miss for it to spawn in roadblocks. But once you see one Police Riot, you'll basically keep seeing them. Maybe you can store it in M's garage, but I wouldn't. I stored my Police Riot behind Trevor's strip club. Now from a save editor that I use, I put my Police Riot on Franklin's helipad. By doing this, it'll act like any helicopter would or plane would in a hanger, it will respawn if you ditch it somewhere, and when you come back it's on the helipad again like a helicopter would re-spawn, lol. Also, when using the save editor, I also gave my Police Riot bulletproof tires, as usually the tires can get shot out, but having a bulletproof body of the vehicle with bulletproof tires basically makes you unstoppable with police.... Whereas the Police Riot takes OVER 3,000 SMG bullets before even starting to smoke. It's windows are also bulletproof (minus two windows on the driver/passenger side) whereas the Brute Stockade's are NOT bulletproof. The only armored vehicle in GTA V worth while is the Police Riot... Edited March 17, 2014 by Militia SickSL and CanOdope
CanOdope
@Militia I wasn't aware of that, thanks. It seemed to withstand a lot more damage than the average vehicle, or so I thought... Lethal Vaccine
@CanOdope: Â Here is the topic I made on December 1st about getting the Police Riot - I had a tough time doing it, tbh. But now that I have one I'll never get rid of it, amazing vehicle. Well, the Brute Stockade is more armored than your average vehicle from the streets, but it's less armored than the Police Transporter and way less armored than the Police Riot. Even in my topic below we talk about the Brute Stockade and Transporter. They are sh*t compared to the Riot... Â http://gtaforums.com/topic/657536-obtaining-a-police-riot-van/ Â Btw, I've lasted 2 hours, 6 minutes in my Police Riot on a 5 star wanted level at the airport. I won't lie, I spent most of my time driving around a route I created in a large circle at the airport to take on as less bullets as possible and I wasn't really shooting back. I mainly wanted to see how long it'd last before blowing up on me, and 2 hours, 6 minutes later it started to smoke black from the engine and caught fire and blew up. Having bulletproof tires helps a lot, though, but if you don't use a save editor to get them, it's still really nice to own in general and fun on low level wanted stars and with gangs, etc... Having bulletproof tires helps a lot, though, but if you don't use a save editor to get them, it's still really nice to own in general and fun on low level wanted stars and with gangs, etc... The Stockade is not less armored than the Transporter, in fact it appears to be just as armored as the Riot, it just doesn't have the bulletproof front windshield and instead has armored side windows, but it doesn't perform as well as the Riot as far as engine power is concerned. The Riot can push cop cars off of you easier and is a lot better to have if you like sitting in one general area to beat up on the police as it will keep you protected from the front better, but if you keep heading toward a direction with the Stockade and keep the police behind you, even with 5 stars, it's armor is pretty much equally impregnable. Another thing you have to watch out for in the Riot truck though, is it's so powerful that when cops cars try to block you in, it likes to just drive up on and over them, which is really funny a lot of the time, but if the cop car is damaged for whatever reason it will sometimes blow it up like you were in the tank. And that's bad because there is a chance it will blow you up too, though it's happened to me twice and I had bounced up high enough that it survived, but only barely and had to bail on it shortly after. Â Also the doors are locked until the guards enter the truck in the random events, but they're not locked if they are driving. They also spawn randomly around the city driving, and are easily steal-able, and you only get one star. I usually steal one of these to get a Police Riot when I want one. One location it can spawn is next to the Life Invader building pulling out from next to the Fleeca bank. It won't be there every time though so you'll have to drive by occasionally. Â Edit: Really it doesn't matter that they have indestructible armor though as the tires can go flat on all 3, therefore they have a weakness just like every other vehicle in the game. Because long before you ever have to worry about getting blown up, due to the flat tires you will get stuck by the cops trapping you in anywhere on the map besides maybe the airport tarmac, so you will have to get a new one anyway, or, since they are coded to shoot at you through the drivers side window, they will kill you regardless. In one 48 minute police chase I had on 5 stars, I went through like 11 or 12 Police Riots, plus the Gruppe 6 truck I used to start it, because it doesn't take long to lose 3 or more of your tires and you won't be moving anywhere barely. Using the Riot it's easy to get another one though, just get all the cops behind you, shoot the lone guy at the next Riot roadblock, then pull your truck up sideways with your driver door parallel to the new one's driver door, then just hop out the old one into the new and your old Riot should protect you from all the police gunfire. Lethal Vaccine
I disagree. I stole the Brute Stockade loads of times and just messed around. Wasn't trying to keep it in perfect shape and for it to last as long as possible. But I bumped into a few walls on the highway not going very fast and head on. After a couple of those bumps, the entire front end came off and was showing the Stockade's engine! This actually happened to me all three times I tried, within 5 minutes. I ran head on with the Riot loads of times into rocks while off roading, into buildings accidently when I was trying do a sharp turn, etc...Didn't even have a scratch on it, tbh... Â You should know...Keeping cops BEHIND you is impossible, literally. As the spawn mechanism allows them to spawn RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU. As does helicopters and all the roadblocks with the Transporter, other Riots, and Police Cruisers are in... Â You are right about the Riot how it drives over cop cars and sometimes they explode. That is why I said I have a route at the airport I take. Why? No spike strips, no Transporter, no other Riots. All you get is Police Mavericks, FIB SUV carrying NOOSE, and Police Interceptors. I also own the Riot as Franklin. So I can make those quick sharp turns without even touching a cop car. In fact, the whole 2 hours and 6 minutes I can last the only thing which touched me was bullets from all angles - Noose helicopters and FIB SUV carrying NOOSE... Â Tires can't go flat if you use an editor to make them BP. I also have my Riot @ 100% armor upgrade. So this helps a lot to get well beyond 2 hours and 6 minutes in ONE Riot. Not sure how you're stealing like 11-12 in just 48 minutes when I am using the SAME one at the airport and inside of it for over 2 hours, lol. Every police chase with me in the Riot ends with it smoking eventually and then blowing up when the engine catches fire as it's more so HEAVILY ARMORED and not actually BULLETPROOF. Whereas the tires certainly are...If you don't use a save editor, though, of course you'll be able to shoot out the tires in one shot from any weapon. But my tires are completely bulletproof and not gonna be getting shot out. Like I said, they are always in tact when I blow up after taking on over 3000 SMG bullet rounds including shotgun rounds here and there from NOOSE standing on the ground at times... Â And no, if your tires get shot out, you're even f*cked at the airport. But that is why I use my Riot as Franklin. It sits on his helipad, so when I die, I can go right back to the Riot as it'll respawn like any helicopter or plane would in a hanger or on a helipad. I use Franklin for his special ability to drive at top speed with his special. It helps me to avoid ANY collision whatsoever with cop cars at the airport and the route I take is designed to maintain 5 stars, but not exactly take on as much gun fire as you would think, hence lasting so long inside of it on a 5 star wanted level...I can usually activate the special and drive the Riot on a 90 degree angle, lol, and go through little spaces and near the planes and the idiot cops blow themselves up. Â And yesterday, I actually wanted to test explosions on the Riot, too. I put one sticky bomb on the ground right next to it, activated it...I was able to drop a total of 3 of them until it actually blew up. Â I've done testing with the Transporter in the same way I do the Riot and I die in TWENTY minutes as apposed to 2 hours, 6 minutes in the Riot. I never exactly bothered to try the Stockade as I knew the windows were NOT bulletproof, and that the entire front end rips off from a few bumps and exposes the engine. Just messing around on 3-4 stars I was completely killed by police within 10 minutes with the Stockade. So I disagree, the Stockade is garage, as is the Transporter. The Riot is in a whole different level. It's like 10 times better than the Stockade and Transporter combined... PineboxFiller
Well that's the point, I'm not using the save editor, so however long I keep the Riot before stealing a new one is how long I still have tires. Also the Stockade has bulletproof side windows but not windshield, the opposite of the Riot. Of course the police spawn from everywhere, but if you can drive even halfway decent they'll barely get a couple shots off at you before they are behind you again, and you said yourself only bullets touch you, so it's pretty much the same with the Stockade. But honestly just because the hood comes off doesn't necessarily make it weaker, sure it makes the engine more exposed, but even with the improved location physics which is what makes these trucks so good now,(as getting shot in the rear armored sections cause no damage compared to the vulnerable engine, the Rhino's engine is in the rear soaking up all the gunfire which is why it doesn't last as long, driving the Rhino backwards causes it to take twice as long to give out) I'm not sure that having a hood or not makes it take any less damage. It can easily last half an hour without smoking, but much like the Riot it will be the tires that are the death of it. Stockade can survive stickies as well, probably the same amount as the Riot, I'm sure we've all thrown one on the back during the event robberies which only blows the doors and the guards get out and shoot at you. Â But I'm not really trying to argue, we agree that the Riot is superior and the Stockade works good enough as a poor man's Riot and works well as a way to obtain one. But that wasn't really the point of the thread so I'll stop derailing it lol.
Lethal Vaccine
I figured out how to use the Tank - Again at the airport. As long as you do not run over even ONE car and as long as you do NOT explode any vehicles in a 3 car radius, you can last over an hour. My longest Tank time used to always be 10-25 minutes, until I did this method and I got 1 hour, 4 minutes... Â I mean, after 100% completion, this is all I do...Lol, 5 star police chases on the Train, in the Riot, Lazer, Tank, and Attack Chopper. Been doing this since October and bettering my times, I can last over an hour, and 2 hours on the Train and in the Riot. The only thing that is less than an hour is the Attack Chopper which I can last 51 minutes on a 5 star... Â Keeping in mind, I only used to save editor since the end of December and early January. When I made that topic about the Police Riot back in December that you quoted from a couple messages above, I stated inside the other topic that I could even last over an hour, even 2 hours WITHOUT any bulletproof tires and also in the SAME Riot. Â It's just odd to me that you'd need 11 or 12 of them in 45-50 minutes when even without using an editor for the Riot I was lasting at LEAST 1 hour in the SAME Riot...But again, it's all done at the airport. Taking it on the roads is a pain in the ass with 5 stars as you got 20 road blocks, you got randon NPC vehicles running into you, slamming on their breaks, essentially getting in the way. And other Riots and Transporters. Nothing like this at the airport and that is why I choose that location, including for the Tank. I always want to go as long as I can, in ONE Riot and in ONE Tank... Â I still find the Stockade weaker. I mean, the hood doesn't come off the Riot, it doesn't even get a dent! Or any of the vehicle crumbling in, this happens to me with the Stockade...Also, I stole that Stockade and brought it to Trevor's airstrip to do some gun testing. I was able to break the windows from bullets ALL OVER the Stockade, including the side windows and windshield...I wasn't using no Bee-Bee Gun, lol, I was using a Combat MG. But this doesn't happen to my Riot in the slightest...The windows stay in tact, except for two which are the driverside window and passenger side window. Also, the cops bearly shoot you through those windows...And if your health gets low, you just drive away and let it come back to 50%. You're basically invincible inside the Riot until it starts to smoke white, then black, and then catch fire in the engine... Â Edit: I mean, I don't want to argue either. But this is my findings from 4-5 months of testing such things as I've been 100% since October and have nothing better to do in V besides for driving my vehicles and testing things and 5 star rampages and the Police Riot is light years ahead of the Stockade and Transporter, not even remotely close, imo, of 4-5 months of testing. Lethal Vaccine
Enjoy, man. I turned numerous people onto the Riot, lol...A lot of people don't even know what it is called! They constantly call it a SWAT Van, lol  The editor I speak about is XB36 Hazard Save Editor. Tutorials how to use it is on Youtube. Btw, with the editor you can spawn a Riot without even stealing it the way I did before I used an editor...You can also store the Riot in a 4 car garage, too. Editors usually go against Rockstar's nonsense and allow you to do a whole hell of a lot more than what they want you to do.  Don't worry about a sh*tty Brute Stockade picking up 1,000 dollars which won't even pay your hospital bills. Just get an editor and get 2.1 billion dollars for ALL THREE characters. 6.3 Billion total dollars, lol, full stats, mod police vehicles, boats, helicopters, planes, Blimp, etc... KatanaDV20
I did try the Hazard Save Editor - thanks for tellin me about it! Brilliantly designed and worked like a charm first time around. I did place a Riot in Pillbox Garage but it wasnt there when I went there I must have done something wrong! Will try again aha! Â Also Im guessing I will only see the Police Riots at roadblocks after I reach a certain % of completion? I caused chaos to generate 5 stars and the only things at roadblocks are those big black SUVs with the SWAT guys hangin off the outside. No Riots But I have the Hazard so I shall try to put one in a garage! Nice touch on making the tires bulletproof in that modder! Lethal Vaccine
Nah, % completed has nothing to do with it. And those FIB SUV's shouldn't be in roadblocks...It's only ever Transporters or Riots...100% of the time. The FIB SUV's just chase and shoot at you. Those are not in roadblocks...Try going to Blaine County or vice versa to Los Santos by using a freeway/highway, that is where you see roadblocks the most...  Yeah, you probably did something wrong with putting the Riot in the 4 car garage...I recommend putting it on a helipad or in a hanger, though, so then it can respawn like any plane or helicopter would. You'll NEVER lose it...  Also if you spawn it in the editor like that, it'll get the Matte or Metallic Black paint job, which IS NOT the colors of the Riot - The proper colors are:  Primary (Worn White) Secondary (Metallic Black) Pearlescent (Metallic Black)  You can't do much to the Riot except change it's color (but I like stock colors), give it 100% armor upgrade, and give it bulletproof tires. No other mods will work for the Riot. The only vehicles which can get engine mods, and every other upgrade is:  Police Cruiser Police Interceptor Sheriff Cruiser Unmarked Cruiser Police Buffalo  Those are the only 5 vehicles which allow EVERY mod done to them. The other 9 police/emergency vehicles in GTA V only allow color changes, armor upgrades, and BP tires.  This is excluding North Yankton vehicles. I don't count those as actual police vehicles as they shouldn't even be in the game to begin with, but you CAN spawn them with the editor and store them no problem...
