Whats the deal with the Daemon?

You can acquire it, you can mod it, but you can't sell it, nor can you store it in your garage. Rockstar screwed up?

The Lonesome Drifter

If it's a mission placed daemon from a Trevor mission (like the ones parked at the van location on the turbine mission for example) u can't store it due to it being a "mission" vehicle.

You could try taking one off your pursues but I don't know if that would be storable or not. But the regular Desmond on the streets in FR can be stored.

Found mine when I did a Gang Attack on The Lost MC under Del Perro Pier. Really like that bike but it's not good for racing.

f*cking Batis.

The Daemon is the only car in my garage that has never been replaced. It's definitely storeable. Been in the same spot for 5 months now.

Rockstar put something in place where "mission" vehicles can't be saved in the last patch.

So this means that if it spawns as part of a mission, it can't be saved. (this doesn't mean you can't save vehicles in missions, though, just ones spawned FOR the mission)

Also affects gang attacks as well.

Of course, some claim that they can still get one from Del Perro Pier, so it might be hit or miss?

I just don't understand why they made the Daemon the Lost vehicle Online when they use Hexers almost exclusively offline.

How exactly do you pronounce it? Daemon...like Matt Damon?

I had a Daemon which I sold for a slot, but I made it a mission to steal one from the Lost if I could, and as other people have said those bikes are insurable and store-able, so that might be the way to go.

Rockstar disabled the tracking insuring of vehicles you grab during missions. You must buy it from website or steal it in free roam. Working as intended.

You mean the Hexer? Or it was Simions wanted vehicle.

did you mean the Deamon, which is a completely separate motorcycle in the game?

I prefer the Bagger, but I occasionally see the Daemon parked outside the LSC near Rockford Plaza

What's the deal with garbage bags? I mean, it's the only item you buy just so you can throw it out.

I got mine 'off the street' outside vinewood LSC. I'd stolen a hexer in stab city and ridden it home. It wouldn't store so I rode it to LSC which wouldn't let me in (I think, this was ages back when you couldn't buy hexers) and there they were, a bunch of daemons (pronounced demons).

I got mine from the car lot next to the "Binco" up in Sandy Shore. It's across the street from the "Los Santos Customs".

exactly. And I'm like fail.

Sorry, but you're wrong.

Seriously guys, why even debate the pronunciation? Do you really mean to tell me that not one of you asking this question knows that a dictionary has a phonetic guide?

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/daemon

Debate over, you're welcome.

TL;DR - It's pronounced "Dee-muhn".

I was pretty close then, I thought it was "muhn" but I wasn't sure though.

The only entry in the OED for daemon is:

A program (or part of a program), esp. within a Unix system, which runs in the background without intervention by the user, either continuously or only when automatically activated by a particular event or condition:)
