Good Deeds

Does anyone here try to do some good deeds once in a while? Like help another player out of a shoutout or pick someone up who's stranded somewhere.

Yesterday I found someone outside my garage just doing donuts and when I came out I asked if they're cool and they said yes. I then suggested we go do some drive bys. They were lvl 19 so I asked how long they've been playing, how much money and what apartment. They only had a two car garage with one car in it and they wanted a second (a sandking).

I helped him find his sandking and even modded it for them minus the performance upgrades. I did buy them turbo though. I then invited to some RR to earn some extra cash.

So has anyone done anything like this before?

Mythological

Whenever I see a low Level getting his ass kicked by a really high level I help the low level.

I grabbed a car off the street for a lvl 4, modded it, and gave it to him. Probably the nicest thing I've ever done for someone in online.

I don't help noboday except this one guy that wanted bad sport for some reason. I drove him around in a swat truck and watched him sticky bomb other people's cars over and over again.

I then quit because I felt this overwhelming sense of shame.

Killing Babelyy

Never help anyone. Every time I see some one coming to me or drive by someone I expect to be shot at. An usually I am.

How do you feel about having canisters of tear gas lobbed at you?

not really, but i have helped a few people out though. one was a player wanting a ride to the impound, another just wanted me to call the Mercs on them because they wanted a MW jeep. sometimes i like to drive by without shooting and trying to draw a spawn killer away from someone just to watch them fail at trying to catch me because they couldn't drive for sh*t. sure they can shoot from a vehicle pretty good, but to actually have to drive to catch someone who can do more than just lay on the gas the whole time was too much for them. met some crew guys one night and one of them needed some more stickies so i just gave him all 25 of mine, guy wanted to pay me for them, but i didn't want it. i got paid in the fun i had with them that night. also dropped off a heli for a couple people i happened to overhear in open chat wishing they could get a quick ride somewhere. they never did figure out it was me and not one of their friends. even sent them a message telling them it was no prob dropping it off for them only to hear they thought i must have sent the message to the wrong person.

best time would be when i did nothing really. called out a rank 237 running his mouth off while spawn killing a rank 3. the 237 said for me to come to him or he'd come to me (probibly would've gotten my ass handed to me anyway being rank 30 something at the time). only before i could leave the garage some rank 120 something showed up handing the 237 his ass causing the 237 to rage quit. one of the greatest nights i've had online.

the rest were little things that were just what i would consider as normal stuff.

Have you seen low levels? They attack you, you find them driving your car, they run you down and more. That's why most high ranks are kicking their ass.

I think they attack out of fear though.

A few times I've run Rooftop Rumble several times in a row and invited low level players to boost their RP+cash.

The Lonesome Drifter

I didn't get killed by someone after we both respawned next to each other after RR the other day.

Due to this I didn't shoot back, which is the best deed possible :)

I hate when people decide to turn on me after jobs...

All I can think is "Dude...We just went through some sh*t together...I thought we were buds..."

I'll get my Buzzard and fly cover for the guy with the HPV. Dont really pay attention to levels cause a lot of players are starting 2nd characters.

idk, it's usually the low levels that drive towards me with the intent of killing me. Sometimes they keep attacking and I have to defend myself, I'm not griefing them when they are griefing themselves.

Aren't most low levels just second characters? Games been out long enough

That's what I asked the guy, but he said he had just got the game about a month ago. Probably doesn't play much.

Usually if they have a mic is when I help them. I'll ask if they need cash or a specific car. I'll give them tips on what to do and where to go. If they have no mic and are following me. I'll ask if they could hear me, understand me and if they need anything to message me. I try to help the lower levels as much as I can, when I can.

I'll admit if they provoke me first, I'll destroy them then call a truce and have them tag along with me. I like to pull up to lower levels in a tank, get out and salute and walk away.

If they have a mic and aren't mental I'll help them out. I like dropping weapons for people getting trashed, or giving sniper cover so they can get away.

I'm not big on giving cars.

I've tried. There was a level 6 being griefed by some players. I was in a chopper at the time, so swooped down to pick him up. He immediately started shooting at me, so I flew away and left him to it.

Someone else was trying to pick my car up with the hook on a cargobob, so I tried positioning my car to help him do it. It wasn't working, so he landed, got in my car and we went and robbed some stores, then escaped the cops in an attack chopper.

After I've robbed a store I always give a few random people in the lobby 5% of my loot. About $80.

I saw four or five people parked out side Los Santos waiting for a low level player to emerge with one of Simon's vehicles. I flew in low fired my machine guns and obliterated them giving him the opportunity to escape

Fail_At_GTA

If I see somebody constantly killing the same person over and over I'll check their ranks and see what's happening at the location. Usually its a tank spawn killing someone so I get myself a jet and take down the tank and then spawn kill the tank owner with my jet. You'd think the random guy would be grateful but nope, he still shot at me. :(

I always take out tank drivers.. I hate those cowards..

I have donated fully maxed cars to low levels as well to help them get garages. I will usually run rooftop rumble with them to level up too.

Of course if I drive up to help them (low levels) and they shoot at me.. Well then I do everyone else a favor and kill the low level until he/she leaves the lobby.. LOL

I pick people up every now and then. Although, not anymore.

This guy got shot in his Rat-Loader and some guy drove off with it, I killed the guy, stole the car back and drove it to him. As I get in a random parked car he shoots and kills me.

I hate all the d!ckheads on GTA Online now.

6 months or so of playing this games online features have taught to me never help anyone EVER most all people in online are complete dicks these days, I'll be minding my own freaking business and all the sudden some giant grouping of people come over in their cars come and start shooting at me and they never ever leave. They just force down some ally and I have to kill them off over and over again until they get to me. This game has the WORST online community of any game I've ever played.

I defend peole trying to take Simeon his Important Car. I take helicopters to random players stranded in the middle of nowhere and offer rides. If I'm driving and notice a stranded person I offer rides.

Despite constantly being killed, I'd rather die a few times trying than be the guy driving around killing for no gains.

On Christmas I dress like Santa in a red tornado and gave miniguns to a bunch of low levels. I would never do that now on account of cockstar taking away my billions.

Deathdime89

I called 911, stole the police car that spawned. Then I tracked down a player, turned my sirens on then asked him to step out of the vehicle. He complied, so I asked him "Do you know why I pulled you over." He says "no", I then proceed to salute... "Because you are just too sexy sir." Then I went back into my car then drove away.
