ollie1984
ive noticed a few glitches with this game, its not possible to input cheat codes, ive tried typing fast, normal and slow, with caps lock on/off, during pause/in gameplay and they don't work, also the planes are near impossible to fly with the keyboard/mouse (I have ordered an Xbox controller) and also cant wheelie/stoppie motorbikes by double tapping the relevant keys (I need to pass the plane school bit before I can progress any further in the game, any advice would be helpful, thanks in advance
Girish
Where did you download the game from? Are you running the game in compatibility mode?
ollie1984
I downloaded through windows app store, I didn't alter any of the settings (im not sure how to do anything like that as not very computer literate)
lil weasel
I would believe that the Windows 8 doesn't like older games. Try left clicking on the icon or the .exe, then select XP Mode. Also if you haven't already installed with Admin Privileges, click that too. You are installed to the C:/ drive? There is no cheat to pass any of the missions. If you hit a game stopper then go to http://gtaforums.com/forum/200-mission-help/ and use the Samutz's Uploader / Downloader http://gtasnp.com/ for someone to help you. radioman
There is no cheat to pass any of the missions. Um, that is not entirely true..there is a "cheat" to pass missions-just not all missions like in III and VC...It is called the "Mission Passers'" code tool created by Demarest and modified by Hmvartak and is Pinned in the Downloads Database topic. This is similar to the "Time Vault" code tool of III and VC. Just a heads up However, on Windows 8, you *may* have to use a compatibilty mode since it is an older game on a brand new OS? Both my PC's are Windows 7 Home Premium, so I am unable to confirm that..
