Dark textures?

I don't know if it's supposed to be this dark (especially yellow and white textures) on PC or not? I have full on brightness on options. Maybe the rain is affecting it? I've only played GTA III on PS2 and that was a long time ago so I don't really remember much.

 

EDIT: There's nothing wrong with the surroundings, npcs or the cutscenes. Only the vehicles.

Where did you get the game from?

Do you have any mods installed?

Have you tried deleting the 'gta3.set' file?

I got it from Steam

I have no mods

And I have not, I'll try that EDIT: I tried and the problem is still there

For some odd reason I think the steam version has this issue as I had gotten it as well. I'm not sure how to fix it either unfortunately.

The fix did work, a moderator can now lock the thread (and perhaps create a sticky that explains how solve the problem?)

A sticky isn't needed, we can just direct users with similar problems to that thread, if they create a topic.

Most users will probably use the Search Function instead of posting, and will find this thread anyway

 

I'll lock this up.
