This is based off all our encounters but ill give you an example similar to mine.

Player A is a "clean and nice" player.

He sees another player, Player B driving around quickly.

Player A follows him around with the intention of showing off their cars to one another or doing impromptu races.

He doesnt ever plan on killing him during these encounters.

Player B, who does not know this, even though he is recieving these impromptu notifications, out of paranoia, thinks Player A is trying to kill him.

At some point, Player A gives up in following him and impromptu invitations.

Fast forward a half an hour later.

Player A is cruising around.

Suddenly Player B shows up with a friend and begins shooting A.

After the surprise attack, player A respawns and is continously spawnkilled and bombed for so long and so quickly that player A doesnt have enough time to pull out a weapon, leave to a new session, steal a car, etc..

At one point, they unintentionally ease off a little and Player A can make a quick run to his garage to pick up a fast car to retaliate back at Player B and his b!tch.

Player B and his friend wait at the entrance of the garage blocking the path of the car animation leaving the garage so that Player A can not leave his garage fully.

Meanwhile, Player B opens fire, kills A and destroys his car again.

Half an hour later....

Player A has managed to get in some few good kills against B and his friend yet is still being dominated.

Due to the lack of enteriors to hide in, player A uses lester to go off the blip (wasnt the 1st time), steal a plane, parachute into the IAA building in order to be safe.

During all this time, player A and Player B have been yelling over the mics as to who started this war and to who the pussy is. Player B fails to see the difference between following and chasing someone.

So who is in the right? Player A repesents someone who likes to play clean, have fun and only shoots when fired upon. Player B perfectly encompasses the majority of players who are extremely paranoid and likes to *uck with others.

Keep in mind..your choice in the poll determines what kind of player you are...

Player A...but i have been in a position of player B. I didn't stop to even ask if he just wanted to have a look at my car or whatever...I usually drive unusually and if they are definitely following me its a sticky bomb on the road situation. I have stopped and tried to have a passive situation with people in the past but when the aggressive situations out number the passive ones...its best to just blow that bitch up. I might try and stop next time...see what happens...its been a while.

There is no side to take, I've been on both ends. If you follow someone, they will get suspicious and in most cases hostile. If you're being followed how do you know they won't stickie you or shoot you to sh*t?

Players like B make A players turn in into B players because they feel like they have to go into defense mode.

Last time I tried to be nice and jumped in some dudes car he stopped after driving in 10 seconds, got out and shot me with the auto shotgun.

Then his crew mates came and tried to kill me, they were 6 people and I was alone.

The whole thing ended in they chasing me with 3 tanks across the map. I stopped at a beach and jumped in the water as they pulled up at shore.

And all I did was jump in this guys car after he honked his horn! Thought he was a friendly.

OP, of course is the player A the nice guy here, B got his friend and couldn't even fight fair 1vs1.

If anyone is following me, they're crazy because I'm in a tank. So they may get accidentally run over or shot (because they're near cop cars or NPCs in general)

If I'm not in a tank (rare), no mics get SOS (shot on sight). People with mics that actually say something are fine to follow until their lack of driving skills send them flying into a ditch, building, or water. Usually how I did it since IV

im so confused on what the OP was trying to accomplish with this thread

Its about principle. In your case, that means as long as a player plays GTA, that he should always remain in passive mode but even then, you are still vulnerable.

I just made this thread to get a view on the ideology of players.

True but they could use the force of explosives to knock you down or the blades of a heli. There is a way around everything.

If your type is Player A,you should make a Player C type friend.Player C is a sleeping giant who likes Players A.When Players B attack Players A, the giant wakes up,steps in and terminates all Players B

Actually its a game, you can shot first.

I did some friends after a killing session.

Yesterday one guy landed on me after an acrobatic jump and we both laughed.

Player A is in the right. They just wanted to roll with someone else in the lobby. Player B is a prick and clearly lacks any intelligence. Sadly, player B describes teh majority of players of GTA O who can't tell the difference with Call of Doody.

This "hypothetical" situation sounds incredibly specific and it's suggesting a lot of insight into the thought process of "Player A"... I wonder...

"I hope the cold, cruel-at-worst, uncaring-at-best, internet coddles me and makes me feel better." Good luck... especially here.

There is player killing going on in virtually every public session. You can't take the risk that player a might be friendly. It's pretty much common practice for everyone who's been playing the game for any length of time to shoot white dots that are following them suspiciously because most of the time they end up shooting you. If you wanna be friendly you better send a txt message or there's a 90% chance you are gonna get shot. Lots of people have the mic settings to crew and friends because there are to many morons out there who yell constantly or blast loud music.

I don't really care who is in the right.

What I want to know is why the f*ck didn't you enable passive mode before respawning? Surely common sense.
