UAV in GTA 5

wouldnt it be cool if you could call merryweather for your personal drone and other unmanned aircraft you control it thru a app on your phone or on some screen from your ap and go on rampages in it .. a military aircraft DLC would be the shiit with a-10s n raptors

If they do add something like this it should cost $10,000,000 to buy or $100,000 for each use and you can use it once a GTA Day or 48 minutes and you only have 4 rockets on it.

 

At least with the tank you actually have to drive around and chase people down with the drone you can just fly to where they are at.

 

I don't mind tanks but i wouldn't support a Drone besides we already have airstrikes and if you know how to use em they can be awesome weapons.

new guns, helicopters, vehicles, why not? sh*t like that has a history in GTA

 

sh*t like landmines, UAVs, stealth bombers etc have no place in this game though imo, people are really over-doing it with these taktik00l military suggestions

Maybe not a UAV, but if they change the Airstrike to an actual targeting system with 2-3 missiles, that would be reasonable.

Go into the passenger seat of a buzzard and you will be able to aim and fire your missiles whilst the pilot can fly and chase down other players

You managed to take a good (albiet OP idea) and completely nerf it to the point I am better off using a nerf gun to kill the guy instead of a UAV. $100,000 per use? 4 rockets? $10,000,000?

 

$10,000,000 is a heck of a lot of money. If we had to convert it to shark cards, then it would be worth a bit under $170, which is unreasonable. The most expensive item in the game comes in at about $2,000,000. You are suggesting this new item is worth 5x the most expensive item in the game/worth almost $200 USD?

 

$100,000 to call in is also ridiculous since to my knowledge, the most expensive thing to call in is worth $7500 (mercs) and they at least give you a refund if you do not get a kill... never mind costing more than 10x less.

 

Four missiles is mad as well since as anyone who has flown in a jet can demonstrate, four missiles is not that much in a dog fight, or on the ground as well. Not to justify the price tag you are asking for anyways.

 

Now, there needs to be some nerfing to the idea, yes. Nothing this unreasonable though. I would change your suggestion to: 1.5m buy, $1k to call in, and unlimited missiles. Perhaps throwing in an object a person can buy that when activated; jam the UAV camera in a certain radius, or stop missile locks on requiring you to have to fire it manually a la side seat buzzard cam.

Anyway, this can be realistically possible. I remember hearing on the radio in SP that the military had plans to build a drone base just outside of Fort Zancudo, so maybe this is possible for future DLC?
