ashbashbluesfan
No I understand it completely, in every clan/crew etc I've ever created or joined on any game you always need to be loyal, having 5 crews isn't loyalty, just like you can't be in 5 gangs in real life. If you are in a good active crew where members are always online I can't see why always having them as your active crew is a problem?

Misanthrope Z
loyalty to a crew is a complete joke imo I'm currently in 4 crews i think, but i've only had one active for the longest, and there's only like 3 people in it i don't treat it like a crew though, since the only perk we use is getting more RP when we do a mission, otherwise we're just f*cking around in freemode the very first crew i joined seemed cool, prolly the only crew i seemed "loyal" to, actually did meet-ups where we'd just go to invite only and do whatever, or we'd go into public sessions and bully virtual thugz. the owner was cool as sh*t too, but he just sorta vanished, so not seeing him around, i joined another crew and made it my active tag. second crew i joined seemed cool at first, since a friend of mine was in it and i joined a game of his while some other crew members of his were in it. i did my usual gimmick where i set my voice changer up and say stupid sh*t to people, and one of the crew members thought it was funny, so we just joked around for a bit and he eventually invited me. so i joined and set that as my crew tag, but not too long after i noticed that the most active players were nothing but a bunch of childish, boring amateur CoD players. literally, all they did was treat Freemode as an opportunity to boost their precious KDRs. the very last straw was when i jokingly killed one of them during Coveted, and he stayed pissed off about it for more than 48 hours. found the same guy in freemode one day, and he decided to get his "revenge" on me by blowing my car up like a huge baby, then it apparently turns out that he even bitched about what i did to his other crew members. though he still didn't get the last word, since i insured my vehicle (after paying for it :|) and ran his ass over while he was in passive mode. didn't have to pay his medical bill or anything, and he dropped $500, so i took that and left, but he set a bounty on me right before, so I messaged him and said i'm keeping that money, and sure enough he sends me angry messages in response. then he stalked me all the way to another server, in some sad attempt to run me over in passive mode....then me and some random guy bullied him for a little while so i haven't taken part in that crew eversince i found out it was nothing but manchildren then there's some crew i joined but havent done sh*t with, in fact i forgot i even joined it and now, for about the longest time, my active crew tag isn't actually a crew, just a 3-man circlejerk with me, someone i've known for a few years, and some other guy that just joined at random long story short, most crews just seem like a bunch of boring asshats, just stick with the people you know

I'm sure your cousin wouldn't care that you used a different crew. Also I think the reason a lot of people are disloyal is because most crews just aren't active, especially larger crews. I have a small crew and most days there's at least 3 or 4 of us on every afternoon/evening and normally a few other friends, we have great fun doing car meets, missions, races and always back each other up. Cudwieser
I'm part of TMC and have little difficulty finding full sessions. I am also part of other crews purely for the logos. Other than that and a few bonus's I'm not loyal. Loyalty is overrated and undervalued. You get no bonus, and if you're thick enough, you get used. s1ckmad3
my crew we are active daily thats if you friended every 11 members we currently have and also we back eachother up and do jobs together and survivals the whole loyalty thing yes it matters to me it must be primary because when i join a session i glance at the player list and look for my crew tag i dont bother with names so far we are small yet play better than a 300+ crew andreuguerra

JiNX77
If there were more crew based things I might see loyalty as a bigger issue. Right now the biggest benefits are extra RP and a half ring on the map dot. My crew is all friends and we've played together for a long time. Many of them are in different time zones and countries, if they want to jump around crew to crew because the rest of us aren't on I don't see a problem. Katastrophe
The last crew I was in had far too much drama. The leader was incredibly controlling about every little thing, right down to gameplay and even what colors you were allowed to use for personal vehicles. f*ck that. Wiredmike420
I lead an active GTA V crew. I created and started recruiting back in September, once they game went online we have had 5-10 members on anytime during the day. I have worked countlessly to make sure all my crew members are active, and all are willing to make our crew their PRIMARY crew. Not only crew, just the primary. If you don't come on at least a couple times a week then your not active, if you take a trip or vacation its a different story. But we are all like minded mature adults who want to enjoy this game in a multiplayer setting as a team, and work together to accomplish our goals and kill all other crews that get in our way. Its a lot of fun, I love GTA.

giraffeboy
How do you get active in more than one crew? Can you cycle between emblems and have different ones on different cars in your garage at the same time? Joined the IGN crew to invite people to my custom races and for the RP as my nobody plays in my original crew, but switched back cos the logo looks sh*t on cars and clothing. DMadS
Well well... all i care about in a crew is skills. Effectiveness during mission and firefight in freeroam. The ones that are trying to force strict controlls and rules in their crews are the ones that has absolutely no authority in real life. In this game they feel they have some of it while sitting behind the screens. There are exceptions of course but it's strongly coming down to personality. Perhaps one of the best example is this - http://www.at7addak.com/article/meet-the-reaper-lords-a-gta-crew-that-take-themselves-way-too-seriously Edited March 20, 2014 by Rwande ashbashbluesfan

JoeBoneless
We require each member have at least one car in crew colors for crew activities other than that they can do as they please It's quite fun being part of an active organized crew!!
