People don't understand how to play missions.

Out of 10 missions I play, I end up doing all by myself in at least 8 of them... it's just frustrating how some people play, Almost every one of them seems to care about their own ass.

It's very simple, if somebody has the documents that need to be delivered, why the f*ck would you ram against their car? WHY KILL HIM TO DELIVER THE DOCUMENTS YOURSELF?

It's a CO-OP MISSION, that means : HELPING your partners and not being a Jerk..

For example, when I play "Coveted" the mission where u got to pick a container with the cargobob. ALWAYS, EVERYONE wants to drive the f*cking Cargobob, even if they are a level 5 and don't even know how, so they end up messing up everything, crashing the Heli against some hill or something. If u don't know how to use the damn cargobob why driving it? always trying to be the center of attention...

Or, even a most common example, you're delivering the documents in RR, and some idiot waits for you to get out of the car, kills u, take the documents and deliver them himself...

anyway, hope people would understand what a CO-OP mission is.

Happens too often. Why I rarely do missions with randoms these days. Our crew have most of them down to military grade planning and odd people just mess that up.

Congratulations, the game is 6 months old. You are now playing with latecoming non-caring players who don't know what they're doing, or griefers going through familiar missions and screwing with regular Joes.

Don't forget about the people who will run you over and kill you as soon as the mission starts. Now that's teamwork!

Or blow your PV up so you end up having to use an untuned, none bullet proof tyred NPC car to get away from the badguys

A Titan of a job is the worst if you let inexperienced players fly it to the airfield before the end of the mission. 9/10 times they'll always crash when trying to land and can be really frustrating which is why nowadays I hold Triangle(Y) to kick them off of it and fly it myself

I signed up to this forum today with the express purpose of making a thread about this very topic! Fortunately you already made one.

I admit I started online play late, only about a few weeks ago. I'm at a level 41 right now and I just unlocked the ability to do Coveted. I just finished farming that mission for about 2.5 hours straight.

There is a stark difference when you get someone over a level 40-50 who's put time in and knows how that mission goes and folks rated 2-10. I don't begrudge anyone who's starting out because we all did......but in Coveted when I'm sitting on the hill trying to snipe and these players just jump in the first suburban and charge down the hill.....well, let's just say it's usually followed by "INSERT PLAYER NAME HAS DIED"

I had one dude who must have just unlocked sticky bombs b/c he was throwing them all over the place, making the game field seem like a mine field. Then like you said, they grab the helicopter and you can see it coming...."oh they're coming in way too fast"......BOOM, helicopter crashes and explodes

I give one newbie player credit, he jumped in the copter, made a pass at picking it up, missed picking up the container, and brought the helicopter right back to me haha

THE WORST is a player who sits at the beginning of the mission and just waits for everyone else to complete the mission so he gets the easy money. I had a player do that in Coveted....he stayed at the top of the hill. So I landed the container on top of him, killed him, and then proceeded on to the drop off.

not really what the OP is trying to convey! Its about helping your fellow player not kicking him out  I hope you're a good team player when we finally play!

Honestly, although it can be frustrating I don't mind if someone genuinely fudges up, nobody's perfect. its the trolls who just ruin the experience for the rest of us are the problem. I was playing RR with a random who was level 100 and he just couldn't resist to whip his lil' rocket out at every opportunity! Fool wasted his whole cache firing at me. You can't kill me on foot jackass.

Also gotta love people that drive you to the mission and drive straight into the hornets nest at 100mph instead of slowing down and surveying the situation or parking far enough away to walk up to the fight....hahaha.

I do admit, I get a pretty good laugh at the bezerker type approaches.....RUSH EM

You've still got a lot to learn! The Cargobob won't spawn while your needlessly wasting time at the top of the hill. You need to kill the driver and get the car 2/3rds down the hill to get the Bob to spawn. Then you can snipe the guys at the bottom while Bob is landing.

1 baseball bat - 6 heavy sniper rounds and a shotgun shell is all it takes to complete.

and btw, the guy standing at the top of the hill is taking a smoke break. Leave him alone, you dont need him and you might want a break some day too.

Nah,I'm a pretty good teammate actually but Its just that my jimmies get rustled when players do this cos it happens alot when I play Titan of a job or any mission that involves delivering a plane to a specific location

I'm well aware of when the helicopter spawns. Actually I don't mind that much when they get in the car and speed down there. They make themselves a target while I shoot freely.

If the guy at the top of the hill wants a smoke break, don't join a mission.

Landing Gear is another good example. If you don't know how to land (west to east under the cranes) and have at practiced a few times in FR, then get a buzzard and fly cover.

I've seen Noobs try and land South to North and taxi to the delivery spot because they cant land it correctly.

And wait til someone moves the truck before you try and taxi out!!

If your aware then why are you wasting time at the top of the hill??? You might as well go have a smoke.

If you join a Coveted game with randoms be aware these players are trying to earn cash and RP as fast as possible. Jerking around is not appreciated

I joined random job, helping a low level guy to do mission. He took passenger seat and I had to drive him to motherf*cking countryside while he had a Voltic. Arrived at the site, I was shooting and proceeding on foot. Then he took my car and rammed me. He died and left. Very teamwork.

Honestly, how many prawn-brained people in this world playing GTA?!

I agree, it happened to me multiple times.

You don't get any extra xp or cash for doing that, so what's the point?

^^Here's your problem. I remember how awesome RDR was early on and after about five months people were just shooting my horse and running in circles. I've never managed to find a large group of reliable people to game with, but it pays to stick with people you know. There needs to be a rep system where random people who don't suck can get teamed up. Also, money and vaginas should rain from the sky.

I was the host on coverted when one of my team mates ran down the hill blasting away with a pistol until the chopper landed, then he fired a rpg at the chopper.

Mission failed............

This has happened to me on more than one occasion and I find it pretty sad to be honest.

If people want to go and piss around, why not do it in Free Roam, where there is no specific objective?

It's always been done. It's always chaotic in public free roam.

Just remember that most GTA players are idiots who doesn't know what to do and who they're facing on the other side of the screen.

It's still better to find even just one friend who's a good player, rather than being in a group of asshole.

Yeah, I guess I can understand what you are saying - A lot of GTA Players are idiots, but its most likely something to do with the fact so many people play it and we just find the idiots

Serves you right OP for playing with randoms. I always do them by myself, even though I have capable friends. It's less headaches, and blame if something goes wrong, or if people make mistakes because they do happen. Never ever invite randoms where there are planes, or 18 wheelers that need to be delivered.
