Here's how to store misson/gang attack vehicles after 1.11

Hey guys,

 

Recently I've seen a few threads with people saying that they can no longer store/insure vehicles taken from missions and gang attacks.

 

This should allow you to store things like the Merryweather Mesa, lester's Dominator with BP tyres etc.

 

Luckily there is a simple solution, you just need to drive the car over a job trigger in free roam, so that when you exit the car you will immediately start the job.

once you load the job host/join screen, exit back to free roam spin the camera around (doing it slowly seems to help), and the car you were in will respawn nearby, it should then have lost it's mission status and will be able to be insured in LSC and used like any other PV.

 

Note that the vehicle will sometimes not spawn, I don't know why, but it has worked for me on several occasions and would say it works at least 2/3 of the time.

 

to make things clearer here is a video (not mine), showing this trick being used to respawn a jet, but the same applies to ANY vehicle.

I tried this with Cops Capacity twice last night, didn't work either time...The first time I had my PV out, so it spawned at the end, so I put it my garage and redid the mission, still didn't work?

Do you mean you are not spawning in the car when you go back to free roam, or you are and even after the host job trick it won't go into LSC?

I spawn out of the mission with the yellow Dominator, but when I go to the nearest blue job trigger, the car doesn't respawn. I haven't tried for awhile, I've been stealing gang tornados and selling them for 12k.
