Properties in the Countryside

haven't seen this discussed much, so i figured i'd make a thread on it (something different from all the tank threads and DLC speculating), and if it did then woopty-doo, i'm not going 10 pages back to necrobump a thread

 

so, i was rummaging through the country area, blowing up armored trucks after finally visiting Trevor's house

 

then i saw this

and saw that it was marked in the online map as a garage, as with a few others that really serve no purpose at the moment, however if you get close to them, the garage door opens.

 

to me, this means a possibility that either R* planned on having properties out in the countryside but didn't go through with it, or they're still planning on it

 

i think this way because if they served no purpose at all online, they shouldn't be marked in the first place.

shouldn't simply be something they forgot to change from SP to MP.

 

if this goes well enough, i might find some other areas out in the country (and maybe some in the city) that could possibly be used as owned properties and post them here
