Gonna give this shotty a try tho! Getting bored with my Special Carbine lol

You should take cover just to the right of the pillar in the middle, pop up and shoot everyone. Might take a few tries to get it perfect, I always start with the 4 guys on the left (not the 3 guys way in front, you come around afterwards and kill them), and then just sweep to the right and back again to finish off any survivors.

edit: just to be clear, I'm talking about standing on the ledge to the right of the building.

Ill give it a shot thanks for the tips! Only reason I go for the 2 guys in the middle (from the ledge POV) is because they have the briefcase and I never have to worry about them running off.. I dont know if you really even have to worry about them running off anyway but thats always what I did! But ill def give this a shot and see how it goes! GTA is just getting to the point where I have no reason to grind anymore so im hoping to make missions more fun lol!

If you do it this way you don't have to worry about them running off because everyone will be dead before they really have a chance to react. Let me know how it goes.

I don't use explosives when I'm doing a mission with other players. I don't want to become the DB that blows up the objective. Not only that risk but the expolsions also disrupt everyones aim!

It's a selfish move by players who put mission at risk so they can get another 100RP.

Sounds like you guys suck. Go to the back. 3 grenade launcher rounds and mop up the rest which would be like 3-4 guys. Done.

Except all the amateurs who think they're going to do this and just end up blowing everything up and forcing a do-over.

Exactly. These idiots think they know the blast radius. Sometimes you will blow up te document and sometimes you won't....but why risk it either way and just be more strategic in your firefight.

I don't see anything hard about this mission, even on hard. Don't understand the high pay/high RP for this.

It keeps failing here. Says Rival delivered. Now how is that possible?

I was getting that all last night. Im not sure why it seems to only be effecting some of us.

In the ten times I played it yesterday I didn't notice a difference. And you don't need to take cover on that ledge, just quickly cycle thru and MG all of them.

I think OP needs to work on his rifle skills. How do you get to level 100 and only have 180 kills and 150 deaths anyway? Less than 2 kills for every rank? Every time I leave my apt I have to gun down at least two idiots for getting too close

Exit to SP return and that issue should be fixed.

The enemies are not hostile. The peds are. Seriously, they sometimes turn around the middle of the road when you're speeding or give a sudden brake, or stepping the accelerator as soon as they see you're riding crossing them.

Have you folks called for the Merryweather chopper pick up, killed the pilot, jacked the chopper, and then land in the end zone with the chopper?

It failed me the last two times I did this. Now I always land nearby and let everyone out.

Yeah it's harder. I replayed it 6 times with the 2 first times i failed cause it said some bullsh*it with bringing a rival or some sh*t. Then the next two times i failed cause the game said i was out of lives when i entered Madrozos house. The 5th time i landed a chopper on the roof on Madrozos house and when i stepped out the razors that are about a metre above my f*cking head somehow hit me and i got instant death and dropped the suitcase on the roof where you can't enter without anouther chopper. The 6th time i managed to get it.

It's not harder per se, but Rockstar has obviously done something to make you fail randomely.

Before doing RR I suggest buying Grenade Launcher ammo and Super Heavy armor. It barely costs you $1000 depending on how many grenades you're buying. The armor is cheap and effective for this method. What I do is get a Granger/Sandking XL and park it in the alley where the document guy tries to drive away from. Then I get up on the ledge with a grenade launcher and shoot it at the striped sports car and the SUV near the right side. With the armor you bought, it should save you losing health. The explosions kill about 4-5 each time without destroying the documents.

Hop off the ledge and get into the alley. You can usually shoot the document guy before he gets into his escape vehicle, but if you miss, he'll almost always go out the alley. That's where the parked Granger/Sandking comes in. He just crashes into it, giving you time to headshot him out of the car with the documents intact. Then I get out the SMG and pick off the rest of the chumps inside the garage -- headshot them if you can. Then go out front and kill the the two guys.

Now that everyone's dead inside, you only have to worry about the 4 SUVs coming after you -- thing is, they only spawn once you pick up the documents. So, before picking up the docs, you can either:

1). Call up Lester to locate a helicopter

2). Call Merrywhether for a helicopter pickup

I've never used the 2nd method but I'm sure it's quicker than trying to evade the SUVs without losing a tire. The Lester helicopter will always spawn at the hospital. So if you're confident with outrunning the SUVs and high-tailing it up the ladder at the medical center, then you won't have to worry about the possibility of the Merrywhether guy screwing up the landing if you call them. Either way, get yourself a helicopter, it saves a lot of time.

The more you test this method, the more you'll get it down. I haven't timed my usual run, but it lasts no longer than 3-5 minutes. Obviously, you should be doing this on Hard to get the most RP and cash. With the latest "nerfing" of the AI, I'm sure the solo method will still work as of now.

Since the change, it now fails every time I deliver the briefcase to Martin. I know why though - it's due to killing people before triggering the yellow marker - but I CBA to do it the other way, and there's other missions with better $ per min now anyway.

At least on PS3 it got harder. I've seen a lot of people getting killed. All of this happend after it being removed from the mission list for about a day.

Also mission failed errors

Rival deliverd the package

Friendly killed when killing an AI enemie

Also connection Error, error error and cloud error... and some more error.

Why don't you want to do it another way? Is there some advantage to killing everybody before triggering the mission? I always kill everybody from up on the ledge and the yellow marker is triggered when you go there.

LOL people dont understand the concept of STILL easy but just harder.. so it went from a 1 out of 10 in difficulty to a 2 out of 10.. Im not saying its hard lol! Im saying it takes an extra couple seconds.. my rifle skills are just fine lol!

Plus I was doing closed crew sessions until just recently! I wanted to unlock everything before I got griefed with tanks
