Seeing level one players

The last few sessions I've seen level 1 players I thought new players were level 3 before they entered freemode ? in my last session there were two level ones both at the airport so I went to check them out, they were dog fighting with Buzzards nearby there were 3 spawned Buzzards to choose from most strange any ideas ?

Since 1.11 if you have a character over level 20 you can skip the tutorial with a new character. Doesn't skip you to level 3 it just puts you in GTA:O at level 1 and the Pistol. So might've been that.

Saw a level 1 guy in a level 80+ mission. He did not have any car not even a gun just a pistol.

acually you CAN be a legit lvl 1.. Seems you can skip the intro when you remake a character and it plonks you in at lvl 1..

 

happened to me with my new 2nd character..

tbh it was a bit ridiculous doing coveted/RR with a lvl 1 and sod all weaponary!

The dns reset thing is bullsh*t, for the people who don't know if you made a second character and your main character is high level you can skip the tutorial but you will be level 1 cause you don't get rp

If I see a rank 1 in free roam, especially a hostile one, I only feel pity for them. And hope no one starts griefing.

 

If I see fools picking on a low level, I will do my best to intervene. I may not always be successful, but at least I can take the attention away from the poor guy.

I used to dupe cars for level 1-10s, usually high end cars or sports cars, just for the f*ck of it. It was harsh watching the poor bastards get metaphorically sodomized

I did my first 2nd player last night. You do skip the tutorial and start at level. But...... You can go into the gun shop and you still get all the free guns. The sns pistol the special carbine etc. This is the same for all free cars and clothing. Funny thou some real level 9 must of thought his luck was in. Started blasting at me with his pistol so I turned Rambo on him with my special carbine. I love this game.

On my second character I'm lvl 1. People tried to hit on me (girl character) and I mowed them down with my special carbine (ran out of ammo since max is like 500 w/o shooting skill)

This. So if you see someone level 1, they probably aren't a noob but have moved on to a new character.

I made a new character 2 months ago it was good I did then cause the billionaire days were around then and I had lots of cash so back then I was able to buy 10 car garage apartment with all my supers/sports I needed and all the clothes and I did it the day before the matainence and even then it was hard I had to unlock car upgrades, raise my shooting skill etc. , and unlock better guns being a level 1 was rough but now my character is a level 119 and this is my secondary character cause my other was lvl 158 so yeah I try to help low lvls as much as I can when their not hostile

So level 1s in the game are old level 1000 hackers nerfed down and forced to stay level 1 for a bit? Awesome, I should now apologize for the handful of innocent level 1s that will end up in body bags now that I am aware of this
