question about GTA ONLINE

can i take and unlink my current account with gta online and link it to another psn account? Here's what im getting at, my old PSN account is on the same system and i wanna go back to the profile ive used for every game aside this one. i thought a new system meant "WOW COOL NEW SYSTEM COOL NEW NAME" and in fact it wasnt as "COOL" as i thought it was. my thought is that it should work seeing as the cloud is online and linked to an email or psn at first. thanks for the feedback guys.
