Dear Race Host... Your a Manhole!

Dear race host, I don't mean to be rude or insulting, but you, sir or madam, are a complete and utter manhole.

First, you chose Long Haul 2, a long, drawn out race.
Second, you chose Muscle cars.
Third, you chose Night.
Fourth, you chose Rain.

Fifth, you chose Traffic ON.

Sixth, you chose Catchup ON.
Seventh, you chose Custom cars OFF.
Eight, I forget what eight was for.
Ninth, you chose Slipstreaming OFF.
Tenth, you caused a crash at the start of the race, right after the "boost."

Can you please, for the life of all that is good in GTA racing, explain your thinking behind this?

Maybe it's me and I'm missing something, but this was the worst race setup I could imagine.

This. I still don't understand how it got verified. There must have been at least a thousand around the map races when the content creator first came out.

Whats wrong with Night time? For me, its easier to see at night, the check points stand out.

 

I myself always put it at night time.

That actually sounds like a fun race (as long as there are at least around 5 or more racers).

 

Catch up on with slipstream off?? I have no problem with that.

 

Night time while raining? Different and fun. Not the same old 'good weather'

 

Muscle cars? Again, different. Tired of Super and Sports cars all the time.

 

Who cares about the crash at the start?!?!? Two things... Long Haul and Catchup ON.... .crash at beginning means NOTHING.

Catchup on isn't actually a bad idea in that massive straightaway and the rain adds at least a slight level of increased difficulty. Also, Long Haul is pointless without traffic given the width of the track.

Muscle cars are also a decent class to race as the vehicles are more competitive with each other across the spectrum.

Seems like a pretty good way to turn a boring track (Long Haul) into something fun and balanced.

I think Supers work best for Long Haul.. Simply because its a boring race, The faster its over the better.

In reading the way you constructed your post, it sounds like there's more whining and crying coming from you than in my effort to make a humorous, letter-style post which many people in the replies seem to relate to.

 

I don't mind your opposing viewpoint, when valid (and it is here), but the "stop crying" comment is unnecessary, especially when you, yourself, whine enough for everybody.

I think normally it would be a good setup, but not having custom cars was a bummer and in the rain, muscles and traffic can be a painful combination. Painful, I say.
