Don't judge them based on the first group or two. If you try them and don't like them then fine. These are much better than the first ones. At least 4 of them have been approved by the racing community in threads in this forum.

How many plays / likes etc did you get for them to be noticed by R*?

 

I'm curious to know this as well. Did you just spam them with your crew over and over again or did you just play them with open matchmaking with randoms?

How many plays did you have and do you recall your approval rating when Rockstar chose it?

Mine was 60 likes I think and 100%. They are finding some of these in the approved created races threads here in the forum...there is no other explanation for 6 races verified in the last two rounds.

I never posted any tracks anywhere no...not even in the xbox share thread. My only exposure is in the thread I am running.

Did they change the name, or just not happy with them choosing that race?

Not happy with them choosing this race, but it's better than nothing. I made it, raced it once with friends and it was meh. Out of the ~19 races I've made, it's probably (one of) the worst IMO.

 

For future refrence, poklane made both Around the Manor and Windy Hills.

For Windy Hills literally 1, not kidding you. For Around the Mirror I'd say only 38 likes, 45 plays, something like that.

It must be good, you didn't even have to call it "Wendy's hill's" to get it verified.

Also, in case some people didn't know: if your content gets verified, you get 10000RP and an exclusive Rockstar T-shirt. It's green with the R* logo on the back. In my case, I also got notified by Rockstar via e-mail that one of my races was going to verified 1 week ago.

Theres definately an inordinate amount of tracks that are on the gtaf that have been verified by rockstar in the last two weeks

 

Good to see some real races meetin the grade and it dies show that likes etc arent the only way to be noticed

Hey Poklane. What do you make of the edits on Around the Mirror?

I reviewed it a week ago, not realising the other guys had already approved it. Well R* made almost the exact same little tweaks that I suggested so I'm hoping you don't think they ruined it, lol.

Congrats on it, its a good race, I enjoyed it and so did the guys I ran it with.

Am I the only one that goes on the Social Club to download fun maps like the tank glitch or BMX tracks? Pretty much like Halo created maps that are fun and make great use of the creator. I'm a bit tired of racing and killing people. The creator isn't being used to its full FUN potential, in my opinion. I've looked at the maps posted here and they all look like something I would do if I was with friends and I was to go along with their pick. I wouldn't really play these mostly because the picture they took doesn't look exciting at all. Some f*cking scenary, great.

SIDE NOTE: I played a melee (fisticuffs) only death match last night. It was on the Maze Bank Tower and had starting locations down on the bottom tiers with stacked wood piles climbing there way to the top (Mario Bros. style). It was a great map but I wasn't able to bookmark it. Anyone know what it is or how to possibly find it?
