Also when did the 5 continents turn into 7?? When I was at school we weren't taught 7 continents we were taught 5! But a quick google told me kids now get taught there's between 4-7 continents depending where you live!

It was always the two Americas, Europe, Africa and Australasia.

That's why after my google search I was amazed to see it's now 7! Continents yet it can be as low as four depending where you live.

I'm from the U.S.A, more specifically the state of Michigan. For that don't know much about it or how to find it on a map it's the one that looks like a mitten, is next to 4 huge lakes and has Detroit in.

I was just pointing out, language doesn't dictate (or often correlate, as millions of Canadians speak French) national ownership. Look at just about every country in Africa.
