hey guys modify your console and use trainers XD if you want use cheats or god mode

You don't even have to do that. Just download the Hazard Save Editor and activate God Mode. It's not that difficult.

Not everyone has a PC or can afford one.

So what am I playing GTA V on? A PC or an Xbox/PS3? Of course an Xbox/PS3 as GTA V isn't even out for PC yet, particularly a PS3 and the Hazard Save Editor is free and doesn't require you to mod anything with your console, only your gamesave which is all done on a computer program called a Save Editor and with one click of a button you can activate God Mode as much as you want...

And I am assuming you have a PC as you're here typing to us on a forum which requires Internet access to get to, lol

One can access the forum on a phone or PS3.

Still, I can't see how he replies so quickly on a PS3 or a phone typing one letter at a time, lol, I personally wouldn't even bother coming here if all I has was a tiny little iPhone or Smart Phone.

Bottom line is, he probably has a PC but isn't aware of how a save editor works...Shocker.

I didn't mind having them stored on the phone in IV but whenever you get shot it would automatically have Niko put the phone away so sometimes I couldn't get to the cheat I wanted. The cheats in this game have to be the worst in the series imo. Though, because of the regenerating health, it's not that bad. But the police are also more of a challenge so I guess it's a tradeoff.

I completely agree with you, OP. What the hell is the point of using cheats if you're limited to how long you use them (talking about that damn invincibility timer)? People use cheats to have fun and by the time you start having fun... your 5 minutes are up and you'll have to waste time entering the cheat again hoping that you won't mess up on the part where you use the d-pad. It also annoys me how you bring down the wanted level 1 star at a time when using the cheat. You'll probably die in the process of bringing yourself down from 3 stars to 0 stars. And if you have 2 stars and try to bring it back down to 0, you'll have trouble I'm assuming. As soon as you bring it down to 1 star, boom you have 2 stars again because you're "resisting arrest" or whatever the game uses as an excuse to give you an extra star (which is another retarded feature). I just don't understand why we just can't remove our wanted level all together instead of 1 star at a time. I also wish we could save cheats on our phones, so that way we wouldn't have to enter them every time. I actually wouldn't mind removing my wanted level 1 star at a time if the cheats were saved on my phone.

Oh Jesus here I come with my rant...Dude OP do you even know what cheat codes are? THEY ARE CODES!!! Its suppose to be button combinations you [email protected], have you ever heard of them? The Konami code, Mortal Kombat fatalitie, every single other rockstar game other then RDR and GTA IV, for christ sake man if you can't remember them then you are not trying hard enough to remember them as it takes me less then 2 seconds to activate them. GTA 4 had a 1 vehicle limit cheat code, you went to your phone (hopefully not bumping into sh*t or getting shot at) scroll down all the way in the phone menu then activate a vehicle spawn WHICH WOULD TAKE FOREVER and they were not codes!! more like cheat numbers, in V R* went back to their roots and brought back what I grew up loving, there is nothing more satisfying then remembering a bunch of cheats and spawning 100 comets, enable slow aim mode and moon gravity, pour a sh*t load of gasoline on top of the cars, shoot it and watch the fire works in beautiful slow motion. Gta V cheat codes have NO SPAWN LIMIT, are much better then anything in IV and are now codes.

As for the story line I thought it was one of their best showing PERIOD, I know many of my friends who grew up disliking the franchise because to them nothing in it was believable or well thought out, this game they loved because it has 3 protagonist, 3 different endings, and different ways to approach certain missions or event.

I have been a member on this site before IV came out and now this beloved forum has turned into a childish sh*t show imo, if it wasn't for the great mods this site would be filled more cynical douche bags, morons, have brained monkeys. Why do you insist on coming to forums such as these, spew how much everything sucks and have thew balls to complain and act like a pretentious self righteous [email protected] who clearly don't know of the amount of work necessary in order to make a AAA game that should not be able to perform as well as it does on a 8 year old console. This game is MIND blowing in a technological aspect, considering that the ps3 has only 256 mb or ram and the xbox 360 has 512mb, both have an extremely dated graphics card, sh*tty disk drive speed, slow hdd yet can have a game look almost like real life.

If you don't like gta V, then stop complaing about gta V and go buy yourself something you actually enjoy such as hello kitty or barbie adventure or something in that nature.

Shouldn't the series be moving forward? Going back to methods used 10-15 years ago for the sake of "roots" is a massive cop out IMO.

Not everyone liked the system used in IV, but it showed R* were trying new things. It wasn't perfect, but I thought it was so much better than button mashing which has faults of its own.

It's quite frustrating to be entering codes only to accidentally hit the wrong button and having to start over again whilst being in a frantic rush. IV's method was more calming once they were stored. Keep in mind I've been a fan for 16 years so I grew up with the old school method, but IV was refreshing.

They could've fixed the problem of the phone being put away if you got shot instead of regressing to avoid it.

Lets keep it civil and on-topic, gentlemen.

So you are going to derail my comment when I told you guys (mods) were doing a good job removing useless junk threads, and idiotic comments hmm guess I was wrong then. There was nothing in my post that should be subjective to be removed from this thread, because it seems you like censorship mate and if you like censorship then you don't know what gta is all about and clearly should should not be a mod on this site, because rockstar is all against that kind of sh*t, there entire company is based on anti-censorship just look at the statue of happiness in IV, it was hillary clinton's face on the damn thing.

There was barely anything in my post which you deleted that should be subjected to a removal, it was called a rant and there is a reason I no longer go on this forum and now you give me another reason to avoid it entirely. We should not be behaving like kids here, this is a site for adult gamers showing interest in a popular franchise, not a site dedicating to nit pick on everything that you personally feel like, because guess what the way the OP wrote this nonsensical thread knowing damn well that he was going to get a mix messages/opinion based answers from members.

Be a man/ decent moderator and put back my comment that you deleted, because long time members will leave your site and you will be in trouble in the end.

Edit: its back thanks for whoever put it back up

Aren't there still a bunch of undiscovered cheats in the game's coding?

I think we should hire an army of spastics, put controllers in their hands and watch the magic happen.

No they have been all found through the in game files using hash-tables, that's how someone found the invincibility cheat.

The cheat system in Red Dead Redemption would be a brilliant compromise. The cheats could be saved, and you didn't need to worry about being shot. Red Dead's method of enter the cheats you want; then play, worked perfectly.

I agree. Maybe the original poster is way blunt, but I agree.

So, okay, phones don't work in water. Things is, rockstar already solved this. In red dead redemption, you'd type in a cheat, and then it would be in the pause menu, ready to access at any time.

Is there any reason, ANY reason that they could not port that over? No, instead we have to type out the cheats every single time we want to use them. This was fine in san andreas, but RDR had a way more convenient method.

Then there's invincibility. I have seen some people actually DEFEND the time limit on this, saying "Well it adds strategy!". Seriously? Are you for real? Yeah, um, if I am using a cheat code that makes me immortal, I KIND OF DON'T WANT TO HAVE TO USE STRATEGY. Maybe I just want to blow sh*t up. Is that a problem for rockstar? Would they prefer I sit and listen to the radio and their oh so brilliant jabs at LA culture? Nobody using cheats wants to have to turn it back on every 5 minutes. And if you do want strategy with cheats, one could simply impose a limit on themselves. Maybe have a kitchen timer or something.

Where the hell did never wanted/Diplomatic Immunity go? Invincible or not, the cops still tend to annoy me a bit, especially since your vehicles are not made invincible with you. Sometimes I want to blow sh*t up without law enforcement knocking me down with cop cars. Is that really too much to ask? I mean, the cops can literally sense every crime you commit, even if no one is there to report it. Unless you count the apparently invisible pedestrians lurking just beyond the draw distance, which is another excuse I have heard on this forum. And then there's also the people who call the cops when you stand near them for too long. Which seems very f*cking stupid to me, as no crime was committed. Why is standing too long a crime now? That's stupid. But I could have dealt with ALL OF THAT if I just had a cheat to turn those dudes off. But no, almost every time I crash a plane while invincible, I then need to pause and activate wanted down 3 times because the cops don't like you crashing planes, even if you own the damn runway you're doing it on. Why can't I have a cheat that disables that annoying sh*t?

So? They're cheats... I already said I don't believe cheats fit in this generation of gaming (to be honest, I find IV/V are still not as "sandboxy" as their predecessors, but V gets a bit closer) and on top of that cheats were never meant to be there for your convenience or to be used that often. Cheats are known to cause permanent bugs in saved games if used incorrectly (which I believe is the fragment of logic behind that stupidly short 5 minute god mode) or all sorts of other game-spoiling things such as making the game easier. The least you could do is put in the effort to learn your cheats.

@EveryoneElseWhoCbaToPostADifferentArgument

Since I've already posted in this topic, but people are still walking around like "duh? there is no reeson for such witchcraft die noobs cockstar rock suckers"...

If you're going to disagree and argue on top of a topic which is purely negative, at least do it in a context that considers the aspects that have already been covered and argued against, therefore actually going somewhere new and not repeating the first post over and over - cause that is annoying as hell.

Another thread about whining.

Honestly, the only cheat I use regularly, is to spawn a helicopter. That's all. I've had a shot of the rest, but why? The game isn't exactly that challenging that I feel the need to use invinciblitly, or whine about the time cap on it. f*ck off man, you can live without it. Most games don't even have cheats these days, so why are you moaning again?

Oh yeah, hecaise you want cheat codes like old games did.

ten-a-penny

most of the cheats in GTA V are actually cheats from SA.

the Jetpack cheat in SA is the skydive in V. the Hunter cheat in SA is the Sanchez cheat in V. the Rhino cheat in SA is the buzzard cheat in V. jus' tellin'

anyways I find pushing button-cheats being much better IMO. why? because its easy to remember other than using a stupid phone to enter them.

but......cheat CODES or phone number-cheats?

82733-why-not-both-meme-5LvD.jpeg

really. why not having them in the Pause menu but still can be accessed by entering them manually? would be the best thing Rockstar do IMO :)

To everyone complaining, Rockstar must have had a reason to go back to the original way of entering them. Maybe they'll add a cheats DLC, you never know.

I cannot play a GTA game without these cheats. In fact I used them from the moment I got the game. Im never interested in online leader boards & "trophies" and wether I complete missions on "gold" "silver" whatever. This is a game and is one of the best sandboxes out there and the cheats add endless fun.

The best ones in GTA5 I feel are flaming bullets (lmao at how they scream and burn to a crisp), explosive rounds (take out that annoying police chopper with one round from AK).

Super jump & fat run also loads of fun. The motorbike-spawn cheat is also handy when you need to get away quickly or chase someone down.

I do agree the 300-second God mode is bleh. Why did they put a time limit on it

Having said that Ive memorized this cheat along with the others and can input it in about 3 secs. In fact Ive spent like 30mins driving around the military airbase checking things out (clocking where all the goodies are parked so I can steal them later) while they shoot at me frantically. When the time reaches 4:30 I spawn a bike and zip to the other end, find a building to hide behind for a few secs while I button mash the God command again and then its back to the fun.

But Ive saved the best for last. Sometimes we get impatient with getting around. Specially if youre on one end of the map and need to get to the other. Solution? Skyfall cheat. Dont forget to enter God mode cheat before you Skyfall (or you can enter it while youre in the air if youre fast at button mashing). This has come in SO handy! Skyfall can also save your ass from a fight thats not going your way (too many cops?) and also shark attacks.

Maybe they'll remove the time limit in a patch? We can hope...

Black & White

So after completing the (god awful) story mode twice and exploring the whole bland map and getting absolutely sick of the overpowered cops and horrible wanted system, I thought "hey, I'm sure this game has cheats just like all the other GTAs! Let's try em out!" Because, you know, I felt like having fun and going on a good ole fashioned rampage.

Oh... how mistaken I was.

I remember the cheat codes very well in Grand Theft Auto 4 & I thought that that was an awesome idea how they were implemented: automatically available from the phone at a simple push of a button, after entering the number once. So naturally I assumed the same would apply to this "game". No. They took a major step backwards. Not just a step, they took a whole f*cking cross country drive backwards. Now we are back to entering an extremely complicated code on the controller, EVERY TIME we wish to use the cheat. Forget trying to do it while driving. Most of them include the "Y" button, which translates to jump out and die.

Now, let's talk about the cheats themselves. Invincibility, awesome. Glad its there. Even IV lacked that. Oh, but wait, it only lasts for FIVE f*ckING MINUTES. Completely worthless. What about the wanted cheats? One star at a time, each time requiring you to tap the D-pad like a moron. Again, a major pain in the ass.

Remember GTA III and that awesome riot cheat, where all the pedestrians would go batsh*t crazy and pretty much start a civil war? I was so disappointed not to see that in IV, and considering what a horribly bland and boring experience GTA V is, I honestly wasn't supprised it was not included.

So thats it. The cheats, which have been a trademark of the awesome fun rampages GTA has been known for, were crumpled up and sh*t on by R*, who in turn handed them to us and said "here... now piss off."

THE GHETTO JEZUS

Agree, like its a pain in the ass to consistently molest your controller for a stupid ass cheat. This was a step back from IV and I kinda wished they kept it as it was in IV with it just saving on your phone. But now we have to rape our controllers and if we screw up once its all over and we have to start all over again. This was a major let down for me about V and one of the reasons why I think IV is a bit better.

Decisions made like this are why I sometimes rage quit at Rockstar. I mean, what were they thinking? I can sometime imagine that an old, ditzy bloke made half of the decisions for this game and only a few of those decisions were sensible.

Yeah? Does that work on the editor? If you activate God Mode it STAYS like that? Or once you save the game, like in GTA IV with God Mode from the Red-EyeX32 editor, it goes back to normal health/armor?

Or is it just when you click "Save" on the editor and bring your save back onto PS3/Xbox that is what you're using and not saving over top of that?
