Hey guys, I stopped playing GTAO a little before Beach Bum came out. What is new/how has the game evolved? Just wondering if it's worth it to start playing again. Thanks for the help in advance!

I played today for approx. 30 minutes. Besides from capture mode (suitcase icons) and new accessories, I didn't see anything new for online gameplay. Keep in mind I only played for like 30 min.

Quick list:

- mafia update added new clothes, 1 new car and the Tommy gun. You can't buy them anymore.

- business update also added new clothes, 2 guns (heavy pistol and special carbine), 3 new cars and 1 new plane.

- Los Santos was snowing for one day on Christmas, Santa/elf/reindeer clothes out temporarily, they were eventually removed.

- content creator beta (only death matches and races)

- new tattoos

- no heists yet :(

Nope. Never lost mine...Still have it. I just never use it.

Stylish...but utter rubbish once novelty wears off compared to other armaments.

Not to mention, isn't the ammo for it more expensive than ammo for other weapons in the SMG category? I haven't even used the Sweeper much unless I accidentally switch to it.

Indeed. The Alpha was released with the business update. The other two cars released were the Jester and the Turismo R. You should check out all three cars. They're pretty sweet.

And as everytime, Rockstar's lame attempts to get us excited and lie about heists... So that's it. Rest I can assure you that much has changed and there are CURRENT RUMORS around that soon Mansions will be released and the next update might seriously have heists. New stuff has been leaked about the heists and new upcoming cars hidden files has been found in the game.

 

If you still need to update yourself, Just stick around for today around the forums and you will automatically get updated. Cheers! :colgate:

FWIW you also have Capture Mode too (Wasn't it released the same time as Beach Bum?)

A bunch of new Races, Deathmatches and Missions (may contain sh*tty user made content)

Can now access 'Contact' missions via the pause menu, which makes things simpler.

 

A whole load of bug fixes and general improvements also.

All of the cars posted so far look terrible and most likely make people not want to play the game...I mean really tho...lookin like a bunch of clown cars at the circus...you should be especially ashamed at how you disgraced the turismo.....damn...
