If I'm wearing a black suit I always wear the black work pants because they are actually black.

 

As for the OP no idea why they can't get the black pants to actually be black.

I wear white pants it's way more stylish, for a black car color I am in a black color crew so I can have a black t shirt and a black respray

I remember it was also like with al ot of "black" items in Max Payne 3's avatar customization. Dark purple not black. Weird bug with Rage engine it seems

The black female pant suits don't have it as bad... There are still purple tints, but only small patches around the creases and folds. The opposite seems to be the case for the male pants...

My guess is lower quality textures. If you ever modded in IV you'd have seen that they had a preset size (usually 512x512 for upper body, 256x256 for lower body). I'm thinking it's GTA's way of saving memory. Most people are viewed from the waist up. This theory also applies to tattoos of other players as well.

Umm.. I don't think he was avoiding anything. That's funny how you jump to the conclusion he was being racist though, lol.

This is irrelevant to the topic anyway.

 

I hate that how that green/purple discoloration is there. I saw ages ago somewhere on here, someone compared the color Rockstar is using to a regular black, and Rockstar's is a crap oily black, or something like that. Ah, here it is.

Here's what it is folks: R* is using 16 bit color mode for GTA V to help maintain graphics processing performance levels.

It's only very minor in truth, but I do hope it gets fixed eventually.

 

Watch it get a name change to Purple Pants instead of fixing the colour though
